Did any one have a problem with the free shipping for Joys Products?
Once I paid the 4.95 shipping the other items were not free shipping as claimed but I was charged a reduced shipping charge. I also used a coupon for 10$ off on some other Joy items that went through and showed the amount off on each product but once I processed the order only 1 item showed up as ordered which the coupon did not apply to and the others were lost somewhere as well as the coupon. I’m thinking HSN may have a computer glitch in there system. I called when it 1st happened and they said the system would update and I would see that everything adjusted correctly but it did not. I was about to cancel everything but giving it more try.
Kim, I copied a portion of the Promotional Detail and it appears, to me, like double-talk.
Offer pertains to purchases initiated on HSN.com or via HSNtv. To qualify for this standard shipping and handling discount, all purchases must be made on either HSNtv or HSN.com. TV and online orders cannot be combined.
The HSN Hosts NEVER informed the TV customers of this "detail". I am a customer who shops both by TV/phone and by On-line/computer – if I am watching and see something I may order on the phone rather than by computer (or vise versa) during the day. I never remember the Host stating to the HSN customer watching/listening to the presentations that the Free S/H offer would only work if the customer was to make ALL Joy orders via phone OR make all orders via the computer . The Hosts say – Call in your order or if you can, order On-line. Never did any of the Hosts state that the HSN customer must use only one method in order to take advantage of this offer. I do not/would not hold Joy responsible to give this information out, that is the Host’s job, to give all of the "fine details of the Free S/H Promotion". If this "detail" is true and HSN customers who did make combined orders – some by phone & some On-line – do not get Free S/H for their additional Joy orders as stated on TV, then I am very disappointed in HSN in its HONESTY.

Kim could you please provide this information to me and others on the Forum, regarding this Miracle Mop TS promotional detail. I looked for it on the HSN site, but it has been taken down, now that the TS is over. As I recall, I NEVER heard, during any of the presentations, the Hosts and/or Joy state that combined orders from the TV/Phone calls and On-line/computer COULD NOT be combined in order to receive the Free S/H on additional orders of any of the Joy line. What was repeatedly said was that all additional Joy orders would be eligible for Free S/H, never stating to the HSN customer that this offer would only be available if all of their orders were made: by computer/On-line or that all orders must be made by phone/TV – do not to combine them, some by phone & some by computer.
If this is true – combined orders can not receive the Free S/H offer, then I believe that HSN should have made this information known LOUD & CLEAR to all the HSN customers and not in small type as a "detail" and should have been stated often, by the Hosts during their presentations.
Perhaps, in the future this "detail" will be stated more boldly On-line and have the Host state this "detail" several times at each presentation, just so that there would not be any mis-understandings regarding these Special Promotions.
Yes, my orders did show S/H charges & some were reduced at the time I made the purchases. I believed, it was just a computer glitch and that the adjustments would be made later – or after midnight, giving the customer time to make all orders of Joy’s products, especially considering the massive amount of TS orders that were made. However, this morning I checked my Order History and the adjustments were not made. Perhaps I should have given HSN more time to make the corrections, but I e-mailed CS, requesting a response, to please make the corrections (giving order #’s and amounts), which I am sure will be done.
Yes, I ordered several Joy Mangano items today and noticed that I was charged for shipping on every item. I spoke with a representative on the HSN Chat Line and she reassured me that the I would be charged just the 4.95 after midnight…so I will be checking after midnight to see if the adjustments were made. The Chat Line reps. have always been very helpful…luv those guys and gals. I figure with the savings on the shipping costs, I can order another mop for dusting or cleaning my big glass sliding doors, and I have several glass doors.

Yes! Same thing happened to me. I was charged 82 cents! What an odd number.
