BLUE AETNA BANNER
This Blue AETNA Banner on the arcade page is very anoying. They canncelled my 93 year old fathers policy after 40 years! He’s 93! This caused him a lot of anxiety at his age. I’ve been looking at it for a few days now and it says this event isn’t until 11 days away! It has nothing to do with the arcade. Put it on your main page if it’s so wonderful.
GET IT OFF THE ARCADE! :womanmad:
For those of you who have health insurance, please check your policy. I am almost certain that you are covered for the same diseases.
After watching the Aetna presentation I had to add another post. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. There is so many unknowns and questions that I wonder what the outcome will be in the end. Besides, everyone seemed to be reading from a script. Luckily, like MissAnthrope I also have healthcare from my government position which includes everything that was stated today. I question the lump sum payment if someone’s health warrants it and if that means that after the pay out a patient is no longer eligible. There are alot of questions and no specific answers.
Totally obnoxious. I had access to some of the best healthcare plans through my government job. Aetna’s presentation and policies were the worst, and they were subsequently dropped.
HSN is willing to scrape the bottom of the barrel in an attempt to supercede QVC as the arbiter of junk and the hard shill with this blatant banner. CAVEAT EMPTOR.
I am also in agreement that HSN should stay out of the insurance business. However, I am willing to listen. For some people health insurance is very expensive and if HSN is offering a group rate that would be lower than going individually, it may be helpful to those who are having problems. That being said, I think they should be looking at other companies as well for comparison as to price and coverage. Then again, this may be a supplement to other insurance, maybe for those on medicare.
i too am wondering why HSN would stoop to the politics of health care here…..this company has had quite a few class action suits….their coverage of meds leaves something to be desired and am not surprised they cancelled your fathers policy (after 40 years)
very appalled at seeing the banner
they attract the wrong kind of policy makers IMHO
i do not have a problem with HSN carrying products to help or promote health….but an insurance company????
HEALTH CARE-This is a subject that should not be so advertised. It is a very personal thing and even if you can cover it up,it’s not something I would like to see.
Can be easily hidden with Firefox.
Couldn’t agree with you more!
Cruise Lines, Automobiles and now Insurance, where might it stop, or will it.
Just another simple way of HSN making more money on those that buy this product here.
You got it right, caddygal! I agree with all you said and you said it just great!
Annoying is an understatement! It is as irritating as telemarketers! I don’t want to be bombarded with ads everytime I go to the arcade or any other site on HSN. This is just another way for HSN to get ads to the consumers, without the consumer’s request for such. When I visit HSN, I want to shop for the specific items I am looking for, without being pestered with ads which I have no interest in. A little consideration here for your customers, if you please!
