Sorry HSN, Not to look a gift horse in the mouth, but they are DEFECTIVE. After putting the lid on the very first container I could see a gap, then removed the lid, poured in cup of water, replaced lid, turned upside down and niagra falls. Repeated on different containers/sizes, similar results, back in box. The containers arrived very neatly in a cardboard box, no packing slip, just product info. My opinion, I would not purchase this product, they are UltraLite, very thin and flimsy, and very difficult to remove lid, and I don’t want them.
HSN says it is an arcade reward and NOT returnable or exchangeable, possibly give them away.
Note to DEBBIE MEYER: they are for sale if interested. I have left message on Debbie Meyers website, waiting response.
Glad 2 know they care and will correct! That’s what customer svc is all about.
I purchased a set back in April TS & I enjoy using them. They work pretty well except 4 banannas, so I have 2 gobble them as they keep only 4 a few days and start getting soft. Which is surprising since I have central air, here in hot FL..LOL!

I have been trying to win ANYTHING for so long that I think I would be thrilled to even won this! lol! I guess that makes me pretty pathetic! hee hee Either I am just not doing something right or I had decided in my head that it is all a farce. I seriously play often!

Shedtowner: I am so glad to hear that. Such a downer for you and for all your family here…we want to join in your excitement. I’m sure once you get the new set you will like it. I use mine for everything, even for hubbys lunch every day and haven’t had any problems.
I was contacted today by the hsn arcade team, and they are going to make the exchange for the defective product. Thanx again for all of your input.
Sorry you’re disappointed with your prize. I’ve never used Green Boxes, but I’ve seen the presentations. From what I understand, they’re supposed to help prolong the life of fruits, vegetables, baked goods, and snacks. That’s all I’ve ever seen shown and discussed. I’m not so sure that storing liquids is an intended use, and no claims are made or demonstrated that there’s a tight enough seal to keep liquids contained if turned upside down. Maybe someone else who uses these can comment.
How many threads did you make about this? HSN sent you a private message…what was the result of that? Did they try to make it right or what? Give us a hint.

In my tee tiny business I always put a real gift in every item that I shipped 🙂 I hope that HSN will fix this they have been doing amazing things to assist customers with their issues lately and surely this will not be an exception!!!!!

All products have some that do not come out correctly … i.e., defects. Most companies give these away as some sort of freebies or promotional items.
Unless I paid my money, my moolah for such items. ….. I Would Not Complain.
I dont know about their defective products, but I am tired of seeing the same people win week after week, you see the same names ?? They should give some other customers a chance ???
Hmmm, I hope this is not an indication of more of the things we’re spending our tickets on—LOL. I can see their point in not wanting the items returned or exchanged, but if they are defective…..??
