18300 TICKETS in 30 MINUTES???????
HOW…HOW can any ONE person do 18300 tickets in 30 minutes.
Assuming that the puzzle is what is being played….and getting the max tickets at 250…that would be almost 74 puzzles in 30 minutes.
In 2 more minutes the ticket count went up to 20120 tickets.
Would someone please tell me HOW ONE PERSON is doing this???
If more than one person is playing on the same account…how is this fair to people that are playing alone?
Give me a break.
Thank you Own5Pets for posting about what happened to you! That must have been fun watching the tickets rack up — like hitting a jackpot in Vegas and watching the quarters pour out (did I just date myself? I hear you get a printout now, no actual quarters anymore).
The timing of that happening was crazy — just when we all started watching the leaderboards for impossible ticket amounts. You are definitely an anomaly, though. I still have very serious doubts about the "people" consistently earning insane amounts of tickets. Maybe others have discovered a glitch in the system and figured out a way to take advantage of it on a daily basis. Just doesn’t sound like fun to me, though. I’d rather earn a few hundred tickets a day while having fun.
can only imagine how unlucky mr lucky was feeling being so far behind…….hahahaha
1. Own5Pets 54,025 1 AM….That was in 1 HOUR!!!!!!That’s 900.4 tickets a MINUTE!!!!!!!!
1. Own5Pets 41,375Note the time of my post….this is almost 1000 tickets a MINUTE……..
Wed. 12-31 Happy New Year…. Funny, I just posted the same thing and it’s 18 minutes in and the person has 16k points— Cheaters– It happens on Publisher’s Clearing House games also. We should protest purchasing if HSN doesn’t stop letting the cheaters cheat. (hey, that sounds like a Taylor Swift song.) 🙂
Wow! And all I do is play the games just for enjoyment and while the time away! Using the points to buy sweepstakes tickets is just an added bonus for me!
Ronnie here again. Nice going buddy. A little humor to defuse a bad situation. Cindy and the rest will figure it out for us. Maybe we could use you in Washington.
Ronnie THAT SOUNDS LIKE ONE WILD CAT—I am guessing that it is a teen. Today’s teens are so advanced in tech ? PLUS OUT OF ALL THESE POST We still have no real idea or explination how a score like that is possible.
I guess I’m guilty of having more than one user. The cat on my lap was swatting at the screen when I did an 8 hour marathon on the Trip Peaks. In my defense, my little buddy didn’t help much. Maybe the other cat will do better. A little over 3000 tickets for 8 hrs. Seriously though, I can see why a person would get frustrated when you look at the Leader Board and see impossibly high scores. Maybe if HSN had a tilt button like the old pinball machines it would level the field .
WELL ??? Just imagine having this player as an HSN shopping buddy. HOW FUN WOULD THAT BE.
We could then blame them for the meaning of SOLD OUT!!!
Since we are discussing ridiculous high scores for some of these games I think we should address the elephant in the room, Snookums on Alu’s Revenge. Seriously, 801,000 score, I cannot comprehend how this person (he/she) can achieve that. Must have some superfast computer for that because it doesn’t seem humanly possible.
I really DON’T understand what this UPROAR is about with respect to certain player trying to game the TS puzzle game to get better odds to win the $ 100.
Let’s CALMLY consider the following hypothetical example:
(1) If a player wins $ 100 every week and spends 12 hours a day to change the odds that this player always wins.
(2) This means that player invested a total of 84 hours to win the $100 prize
(3) In simple math, it translates to $1.19/hour -> WOW
I don’t know about anyone here who would want to make that kind of time investment just to get something like $ 1.19/hr in return other than for that player really likes playing the puzzle for whatever reason.
My comment to all players would be ENJOY playing the game of choice and have FUN.
I have never felt inclined to try to race for tickets. I know there are those who do. I know some who have done it and who have made great strides as single players. I feel sorry for them because it’s so obvious that some players have taken advantage of the system to run up tickets just by having many people log in with the same username. It must be so sad to be that desperate to "see your name in lights."
Until today, I didn’t see any other harm in this; however, one of the posters I read earlier today, has made a very good point. If these people are indeed doing this by playing the puzzle, then they are tilting the odds of winning the $100 gift cards in their favor. I seriously doubt that HSN will be able to do anything about the multiple players short of limiting the number of browser windows one username can have open (if that’s even possible).
However, HSN, you can solve the puzzle problem by immediately returning to the original rules for the puzzle that we were given when it was changed in April–Only 1 entry per username per day.
Cindy that is a good point. I agree .Did you not say HSN was correcting the problem ?
Where is this leader board. What I am asking I guess is what Is a leader board ? What makes a leader ? Is this all involved in the arcade ?
I need to pour some motivation into my soda- BB
There are no rules for the arcade. Nothing that says that more than one person cannot play on one user name. Nothing that says it’s right or wrong. And I guess, if the people that might be doing this, they must have a reason to be racking up tickets in these huge numbers. It could just be that they enjoy seeing what they have accomplished..or seeing their names way up top on the ATLB.
My point is, in all of this…why should the rest of us bother to improve our rankings on the All Time Leader Board? People that play more than one person on a user name, just keep knocking us down. Why bother if it’s ok with HSN for this to happen? And it’s to the point now, that there is nothing that HSN can do about it. Without zeroing out the LB and starting everyone all over again. But then, who’s to say that it won’t happen again?
Look at it this way…it’s a tug of war…there are who knows how many on one side of the rope and just one on the other….you’ve lost before you ever started.
