Wrong item received 3 times In a row!
Hello, this is for everyone to tell them to be aware of what they purchase and to make sure they are getting the right product. This situation has been going on for almost a month now. I have already contacted HSN in hopes that this is the last time I have to get the wrong comforter (will be the 4th one I now). I hope that this also helps HSN in changing the way they label products. All the comforters I’ve gotten have no identification tag at all to differentiate one from another.
This is the 3rd time I’ve received the wrong product within 1 month! It is ridiculous. I have been given a replacement for the recent order I’ve done, so hopefully 4th time is the charm. I’m writing this so all of you don’t have to go through this.
In the beginning of August I tried to purchase the Concierge Collection 1000TC down comforter in White. I was so excited to receive it, and it turns out I got a comforter from Blue Ridge Home Fashions, which isn’t even sold by HSN. I contacted customer service and they sent me a new one, which again was from Blue Ridge Home Fashions. So I got another one (this is my third time) and AGAIN it was from Blue Ridge Home Fashions! By the way, you can tell it wasn’t from the Concierge collection, because of what the tag said, and it being a dry clean only comforter. The one from HSN is a machine washable. So these are all totally different than what I’ve been trying to purchase. I’m just appalled at how many times a company can screw up with sending the wrong package to a customer 3 times so far. This better be the last time (4th time) I have to contact customer service for this issue.
At least I’m not the only one who’s had an experience like this. I do like HSN so that’s why I’m holding out hope! I hope I get the right one this time as well. Take care!:)
Sorry to hear about your bad experience ?, something similar happened to me once when ordering a Lion Belleza medallion. I kept receiving the St. Anthony medallion in it’s place and this happened twice. Finally, after dealing with customer service and returning the wrong item back twice I got the correct medallion in the mail. So third time was the charm for me in this case…I do have to say HSN customer service went above and beyond to rectify the situation and all shipping was waived and account was credited. Not sure if problem seems to be the Q.C. or Packaging Departments. Hope you get the correct item this time around!! :smileyhappy:
Wow, I’m sorry to hear this has happened to you. I can understand an occassional error, but for it to happen three times in a row on the same item, there is something very wrong.
I also just recently received an item that was marked with the item # I ordered, which was a clearance purchase for $9.95. I had ordered the margaritaville crepe pants (or something like that). When i opened my box of items, I looked thorugh everything, and was wondering what this black and white item was. It was marked as my pants but that was not the color i ordered (the only color left). Not only was it not pants, it was a flowy type top in a size large (I wear extra small in most items). Because I had paid so little for the item and it looked like something my neighbor might like, I went ahead and gifted it, instead of calling to complain to customer service. She is a very nice and giving person who takes care of my kitty when I am away from my house. She was thrilled to have benefitted from HSN”s mistake, and I really didn’t need the pants. I think I got more pleasure out of seeing her smile at the gift, than I would have those pants (which are now sold out anyway).
I really hope you get what you ordered, or if not, you end up getting something better, like I did. :womanhappy:

? it just sounds so crazy, right? i hope they get it right. i would hate to have to dry clean a comforter, so getting what you want is important.
a while ago i got some hsn huggable hangers, it was a big set in white. they looked great on tv, really white. i got them and they were either dirty or linen color. i called, read reviews of those who ordered white, and “got linen”, etc. anyway, i insisted to c/s that the wrong hangers were sent. this went on three times!!
finally between the order form, c/s, the hangers and reading reviews i realized that i had the correct product, i was just a little misled by the color and i didn’t like it. lots of us didn’t like the color and just thought they were pulling the wrong item from the warehouse. i don’t know how they keep those orders straight!!!

? it’s too bad that you have had this frustration. it’s my guess that blue ridge home fashions is the parent company of concierge collection, or it’s the other way around. it’s possible that c/s might not even know that. two or three times (over many years) i have received boxes and had no idea what it was until i opened it, and it was my hsn order. you didn’t say if the comforter was completely different than what you expected, other than the dry cleaning. what did your receipt say? if you get the same item the 4th time it really just might be what you ordered. i hope it works out for you. no one wants to be disappointed. good luck.
