Wolfgang pressure cooker
Does this electric pressure cooker ever blow it’s whistle? I ask this cause I purchased one last month and all the times I have cooked in it, I have never hear it whistle. Is there something wrong? If it does not whistle today I am gonna send it back. Sorry about that. And yeah after the cooking time I just see a watery mess of everything even though I have not added any water.
A electric pressure cooker does not whistle like a stove top one.
As for a watery mess you may be cooking things to long.
I have the 5 quart pc and it releases the steam right away. I don’t think this is normal. I think the seal might not be right. Does anyone else have this problem? Also, I have been trying for months to find out how to get a replacement seal and seems they are not available. I am very disappointed with Wolfgang’s web site and hsn because neither one was of any help. Will not be shopping with them or Wolfgang’s products in the future.
These pressure cookers are pretty quiet. They are not like the ones that you put on your stove. I love that they don’t make noise. You will get the hang of it. It took me a few experiments to get the liquid right. I love it for making spaghetti sauce. Veg, like peppers, celery and tomatoes release a lot of liquid, I cut my liquid by half. Hope this helps you some Anita.
My pressure cooker does not whistle and I do not think it should.
Pressure cookers aren’t supposed to whistle.
