Other than motivating my husband to get off the couch and help, I’d say the most difficult part is gathering up the broken branches that fill the yard after strong winter winds blew them down. I have a lot of trees so lots and lots of branches covering the ground. Haven’t found a good way to deal with them other than to pick them up by hand and that takes a very long time.
WEEDS!! I hate pulling weeds!! Especially the ones I have. The worst weed ever created on the planet. It has a bulb, not a root at the base. If you don’t get under these and get the whole bulb, the bulb will divide itself into a million other bulbs like something out of Star Trek. They just love to multiply. You cannot just pull them up, you have to literally dig underneath them while being careful not to uproot your other wanted plants.
Trying my best to not get home in time to help.
I really leave the outdoor chores to darling husband :smileyembarrassed:
He shares the love by leaving the housework and cooking mainly to moi.
Of course he helps with the housework some but I rarely get involved in the yardwork .
The most difficult part for me is getting started.
I find it challenging to clean the island shaped flower beds in front of the house. The tress need pruning, mulch needs replacing, flowers need planting…….and the weeding can drive a man crazy!
The gutters! Inside and out and on the ladder.:womanfrustrated: Having to fight my allergies while doing it.:womanfrustrated:
Getting dirty. I hate dirt under my fingernails. And yes the pollen, bad allergies
THE POLLEN. Oh man it’s so bad here, in New Mexico we have tremendously strong spring winds and if you step out for 2 minutes your entire head is stuffed with it. I’m giong to give it a try this weekend and get some weeding done but I don’t know how long I will last.
the outdoor part of it lol, darn allergies.
