Thanks HSN From a Happy Halloweener!
Thank you HSN for presenting such a great collection of Halloween/Day of the Dead merchandise! Special kudos to your planning and buying team! The breadth, quality, and overall values were by far the best of any home shopping network, and matched only by some very high-end catalogues we receive. The Grandin Road and Heidi Daus (of course) pieces were especially cool! Unfortunately, I waited and missed out on that great Day of the Dead poncho!
I also got some great home decorating and crafting ideas from your selection. As an example, you had some great wreathes (some a little beyond my budget, like the $360 one), but I’m using them for inspiration in making my own, for our house and as gifts.
I think there are many of us, still young at heart, that love celebrating Halloween/Day of the Dead and try to really go all out for the holiday, and HSN did a great job in helping us do it up right, not only for entertaining the kids, but the adults, too!
Please don’t forget that some of us also celebrate the flip side of Halloween/Day of the Dead, with All Saints’ Day, many year round! Many of us collect sacred symbols such as crosses and angels (and angel wings) in home decor and jewelry. These can be used year round, or brought out for all the relevant holidays.
Again, thank you HSN from a Happy Halloweener, and good trick or treating!
Halloween is a scary fun 🙂
I love Halloween, too. My grandchildren and I always prepare spooky food for our family’s Halloween party. They love it, too!
Bouncing this up for Brynzy, who wanted to know if anyone likes Halloween.
Awesome thread ?, I agree some great items from Grandin Road and Heidi! Unfortunately alot of the stuff I wanted was sold out or as you mention a bit beyond the budget, but you’re ideas to get creative and gain inspiration by these items is great. I will be hitting up the Dollar stores and craft stores to make some spooky creations of my own.
I too collect crosses and angels and use them year round. Weather is finally getting more Fall like here in Texas, so my holiday spirit is kicking in! Really enjoy decorating and trying new things each year. When our nieces and nephews come over they just love looking at everything and it makes such a fun experience for them as well as me and my sweety.
Have A Fun And Spooky Halloween!! :cathappy:
