Suzanne Runyon, BE QUIET +LET Anna describe her product!
7 pm show, first item, Terrific Titles. Suzanne only let Anna finish ONE sentence! No one describes or sells her products as well as Anna does.
Colleen was that way with the Toms Vendor the other night on The List. I felt bad for the Vendor. Colleen was selling the shoes and every once in awhile she would let the Vendor talk. I finally turned it off.
There are some vendors who are good to go and need to be left to talk without interruption and there are others who need guidance. I think Anna Griffin does well on her own. Suzanne is the pushiest salesperson anyway from what I see and while I know she’s a crafter, it gets frustrating when she won’t let the vendors speak. I like the interraction but would like the hosts to let the vendors have their say. If they NEED help, help. But if not, let them go.
I have to ask, is this the upallnight from another station’s forum? If so, we used to talk occasionally on there but I have another name here.
I am not a crafter so my take may be different than yours. I really enjoyed Suzanne’s presentation of the products. You can just tell she is a crafter and really enjoys and knows the products. Her presentations are also fun to watch. She is full of life.
Anna’s presentation was just okay/fine in my opinion.
Suanne Ruyon needs to stop interrupting the presenter. She always talks about I did this and I did that, Let Annas talk!
I get frustrated with some of the hosts sometimes but I am more likely to lose interest in the ones that clearly don’t know the product they are presenting. That has been pretty common with some of the trial overnight hosts.
Overall though, I think it is important to remember that these people have a difficult job. They have to walk a fine line between bringing out as much from the product and the product rep while filling in the gaps. Also keep in mind that they are constantly being judged and rated by the higher ups at HSN since the sales that they bring in are monitored. It has to be a high pressure job. They also have the added pressure of being judged by a whole lot of viewers and they certainly will never be able to please everyone.
Suzanne just gets over excited about crafts…..but I would prefer to hear more from the vendors
LOL, There are hosts that talk over the GUEST/PRESENTER so many times I just wish they would shut up… sometimes the Guests aren’t that good describing their items and need some help, but you’re right, Anna could stand up there alone and sell her items without help from anyone else. Maybe one day HSN will let that happen, IF that’s what Anna would like to do.
I forgive Suzanne tho… she’s a crafter, not just a host assigned to the hour, so her excitement over AG’s products (I feel) is quite genuine and understandable.
