Promoted on TV and stated on the website for the item that there is a 10 year manufacturers warranty. That is not true. They are only warranted for 90 days. Supposedly the batteries have a 10 year “life” but that’s it. We just had one fail at 4 months and found out the hard way that we were mislead. BOTH by the TV host and the website which still says that the manufacturer warranty is 10 years. Contacted Customer Service and was told that they don’t warrant the product, that that is the manufacturer’s responsibility. I have no issue with that, it’s the false promotion by HSN that the product has a 10 year warranty and it’s only 3 months.

Infuriating. Perhaps speak with cs supervisor and insist on refund, or at least replacement.

I did get on Chat and ended up receiving a $12.95 (I think, haven’t checked by account yet) refund.
