Samantha Brown Navy with Dark Espresso trim (not camel)
I have the classic 21″ and dowel bag set in Navy with dark trim. It is the same color trim that comes on the burgundy, NOT the camel. It is my favorite color combo. It is very conservative, and sophisticated. However, I have ordered the Navy 25″ four times, and each time they sent me the Navy/camel option. When I call, cust service says they must have the wrong item in that bin in the warehouse, but there is nothing they can do about it. They say to return and try again. The Navy is a color option, when ordering. you have the option of selecting either Navy, or Navy/Camel. Has anybody been successful in receiving the Navy with the dark trim?
Have you ladies checked her luggage on flights quite a bit? I noticed most of the reviews that are positive are from people that did not use the luggage. Then there are very telling poor ratings from people who did use them and things fell apart.
They are so good looking I’ve been very tempted but no one likes to deal w/ things falling apart on the first use, especially when traveling! I wish she made more hard luggage too.
Yes, I have, and I’ve flown on domestic and international flights many times with Samantha Brown luggage, and never had any problems.
I’ve carried on and checked, never have I experienced anything negative.
I have the burgundy first class and the trim is a dark brown, the classic I have in watermelon and radiant orchid and the trim color is camel.
You’re correct there’s two different trim colors.
SB stopped making the first class a year or so after she introduced it.
I believe they must have shifted both the camel trim and dark brown trim into the classic, and once the dark brown was depleted, they didn’t change the trim options.
I often wondered what the color difference was in the options offered, I almost ordered the navy,
I would order the navy anyway, you have the rest of the collection, and once the 25 inch is checked, no one except you will notice.
I know how you feel, I’d want all to match, but realized, it’ll be checked anyway, and most will notice the beautiful navy color, not the trim.
The navy is gorgeous.
