"My Pillow" F Rating on BBB
Mike Lindell owner of My Pillow gladly and gleefully accepted his huge tax cut and now he is laying off 150 employees!
“My Pillow” has a BBB rating of F for unscrupulous business practices!
Ban his products!
I would never buy a “my pillow” for many reasons. I would never buy a pillow from television. I choose to use my hard earned money for products I trust, from a vendor I trust and I can’t do either with these pillows.

Nice try. He “laid-off” 120 employees because he is renovating that production space which is being reconfigured for his new business endeavor.
“I had to lay them off because you can’t have employees in there while doing this big shift,” Lindell said.
He paid them all, gave them an extra week’s pay, told them they were welcome to find a new job on their own, work for another company that he had arranged to hire them, or wait for his call in six to eight weeks when the place is up and ready for them to work in.
What an awful boss (sarcasm).
“Most of the workers, I think, they will grab jobs right away, but hopefully some of them come back,” Lindell stated.
MyPillow employs about 1,500 people but with this new venture, Mike is hoping to bring that number up to 20,000 by the end of this year.
Wow, again, terrible guy to bring another 18,500 jobs to America.
Try READING the full article rather than a headline from Salon.com. And if you decide to post something, do a little research first, unless your goal is to spread non-truths and intentionally hurt an American company.

I’m sure there are people that like it, but this pillow caused nothing but back and neck pain for me AND my daughter. These pillows are terrible and nothing will ever change our views on them.

As far as the BBB rating, I will refrain from commentary for those that ignore them. Those ratings are important, ‘F’ ratings are not given out lightly.
Also, if you don’t believe the layoffs, do a very simple web search because the information is available. They DID receive huge tax breaks and the ARE laying off ~150 employees, as of 10 May 2019; this is in addition to the ~140 layoffs in 2017. He decided to cut ~9% of his workforce to “make room for a new venture.” If he cared about his employees at all he would have trained those employees to prep them for the changes rather than kicking them to the curb.
You told us to do a “very simple web search” – you obviously didn’t read anything you searched. You then “reported” that Lindell should have, “trained those employees to prep them for the changes rather than kicking them to the curb,” well, train them for what? Kicked them where? He’s renovating his building and when it’s finished, in 6 to 8 weeks, they come back. That’s what a layoff is (do a very simple web search on definition of “layoff” vs “firing”).
Geeze, I’ve never seen so many bitter women get that mad at a pillow. It’s a PILLOW. The “lady” doth protest too much, methinks; to the point where your obvious ulterior motive behind your hysteria has been exposed. Sleep tight, America.

That “F” rating was in 2017 and was because he offered a “buy one, get one” deal. His current rating is “A”. I personally love my pillows and am able to sleep without neck pain – the only pillow that has allowed me to sleep with no pain! I will never give mine up!
Mike Lindell is very involved in charity, especially with organizations to help addicts and cancer.
Thank you, Kittengirl, for pointing out the unjustified and trivial (in my opinion) BBB rating. I don’t put a lot of weight in their ratings anyways. I don’t think they are neutral in the process. Will just leave it at that. As for My Pillow, we have a house full and my kids and husband love them. Only pillow I found that is easy to wash and dry and an easy part of my freshening the linens routine. I think the founder is very grateful for his success and generously supports many charities and organizations ❤️

If you look at ratings for most companies, you’ll see complaints.
Lots of people like Beekman, but I saw a complaint online that makes one of the guys look bad. I have to say, it affected my opinion of them.
I’ve had a MyPillow for a few years now and would never use another pillow. It’s so comfortable, I get a great night’s slip with it and it washes and dries beautifully.
Just because a company is “Made in the USA” doesn’t automatically make it great. Once a scammer, always a scammer. I was all for giving a recovering addict a break, but he’s done absolutely nothing but take what he can and give nothing back. Plus his products are overpriced , and he keeps coming out with more. Now taking the YUGE tax break and laying off loyal employees…they say the measure of a man…
Never ever been tempted to try this pillow and don’t know how so many of them have been sold. Hope more people check out the BBB rating before purchasing. I like my Tony Little pillow a lot; just wish HSN would sell them individually because hubby has his own pillow choice and the price for two is high.
AMEN! With you 100%! This is a terrible company with awful products! I purchased these pillows many years ago through QVC (whom I do not shop with anymore) and really tried giving them a chance but should have returned them within their 30-day return time-frame. This is just one more way QVC is slowly killing off HSN.
I read some of the complaints on the BBB website and can relate to many of them. Fashionizta is correct, the BBB gave “My Pillow, Inc.” an ‘F’ rating and they’re not accredited through the BBB. Also, 222 complaints through the BBB in the last three years (54 in the last year). If you pay attention and read the responses to the complaints, they’re heavy on the levels of poo. Many of the responses have been rejected because the company doesn’t follow their own policies.
What’s worse, this company doesn’t care at all about the employees!

I, too, just now saw the current F rating at BBB. What kind of poo is in the pillow? I can’t figure out how it would get there, but yuck. I scanned through some of the BBB complaints and didn’t see it, but maybe you could let me know what people said. Thanks.
