Can we please discuss the spin mop for a moment?
okay, I just used the Spin Mop for the first time. Seems simple enough. HOWEVER, though the salad spinner part works, I can’t get the water to agitate at all. Thoughts?
I have bought many spin mops. The bucket.mechanism only last about 6 months. I now.have.Joys mop and love it. Ispent a.fortune replacing that.spin.mop.constantly.
HI owlbdamned :smileyhappy: I happen to be HUGE fan of ‘Spin Mop’! Had mine since was T.S.! FEW YEARS NOW! Fortunately for me, foot pedal still working–tho I ‘DO’ go through LOTSA ‘mop heads’!! GETS WORKOUT-along w/vac- 2 cats! lol Will also add- use diff $1. bucket to dip in FIRST BEFORE I USE THE ‘SPINNER’ BUCKET! I’m not really sure what you mean by ‘agitate’?:womanembarrassed: I do know mine is ‘original’ design and NEWER models are different-maybe that’s to what you’re referring? Also, everytime someone tries mine, or my moms, end up buying for them too! :womanhappy: (elderly-even housemaid’s) Always well received w/good feedback! Can’t speak of ‘JOY’ mop- never tried! Do LOVE her hangers-closet org’s/pillows/steamers :heart: Do let us know if you like it if you decide to buy!! =)
I love my spin mom. I purchased my first one about 3 years ago. I purchased my second one about 6 months ago, not because there was anything wrong with the first one but because my daughter purchased a house, "borrowed" my spin mop and conveniently never returned it. I am not sure what you mean by getting the water to agitate. I love being able to spin out the water and not get too much water on the floor. I have used it on tile, linoleum, and concrete. Before the spin mop, I used to get down on my knees and mop the floor but I am getting too old for that.
I don’t know …I love my rubbermaid!
After I use it a lot of times I throw it away
and buy another mop head for $6.99
so much easier???
