Portion Control Dinnerware
Just don’t keep putting the fork into your mouth.
Unless those plates slap me in the face…I will just keep filling it up.
Keep your elbow down so you can’t put your fork in your mouth.
It works sometimes !:smileyfrustrated:
I tried so many things…. smaller plates, less calories, personal trainers, gyms, psych-councelling…. I still eat like a pig when given an opportunity to do so (not around people). The only thing that works so far is telling myself "STOP!" and that works rarely, or I would have been size 0….
I do have bowls that are portion measured. They look really nice sitting on the shelf. LOL :smileywink:
But I do use a smaller sized plate when I eat…a salad plate. That way I don’t fill up a big dinner plate. That is my way to portion control. It works. It tricks my brain into seeing a full plate. It’s just the size of the plate that is changed.
Ok, since we all are ANONYMOUS here…. I drink salsa in Mexican restaurants with my water straw… how gross is that and how does abscence of spoon compells me to eat less salsa?! :smileylol:
How about using a spoon with a hole cut in the middle for soup? LOL
