I feel Sorry for anyone following any product to EVINE
Evine has THE WORST Customer service in the world! No wonder people like the Beekmans moved over to HSN. Sorry for the ladies who are following serious skincare. WARNING : you don’t like something – you have to return before the 30 days are up! They want the product in their possession on or before the 30 days – if not they charge your account and actually dump the product in the garbage!
I contacted all the companies that I had an autoship and told them to please move to HSN or QVC. Both companies are slipping in their quality but the customer service is WAY better!
Don’t feel sorry! Evine is a great company. Glad Jennifer made the move. When I called HSN customer service to ask why I couldn’t locate Serious Skin Care on the website they told me they “severed the relationship” with Serious Skin Care. Would have been good customer service to let their customers know about it, but they didn’t. Actually it was Jennifer who severed the relationship, not HSN! HSN better hope Andrew Lessman doesn’t decide to do the same thing.
Don’t feel sorry for me. Serious Skincare made a business decision, which is none of my business. I will purchase the products and it doesn’t matter which network I buy from.
I just looked at the FAQ on Evine this is what it says, “If any item received from Evine does not meet your expectations, you may return or exchange the item within 30 days of when you receive the item.”
The 30 day return policy is something you NEED to understand when ordering from EVINE. The clock ticks the moment the item is ordered. So, if it takes 15 days to get to you and you are to allow 10 BUSINESS DAYS (weekends do NOT count with EVINE) to return, you have 3-5 days MAXIMUM to try the product.
Also, if you have a reaction of ANY kind to a product, that does NOT count as an item being defective. It either doesn’t work or arrived broken else, it does not qualify as defective.
Last, if your order goes missing or an item is missing from what you ordered, you MUST file out a statement and have it NOTARIZED else, NO REFUND. No exception. Even then, they may not refund your money.
EVINE is NOT a place to purchase and “try” something. It’s a place to order something you know you already like and want the best price. In that respect, no complaints. But beyond that, buyer beware….it’s a nightmare.
The CS at Evine was exactly what I was wondering about. I’ve never ordered there before and I’m not sure it’s worth trying if CS is lousy. HSN CS has not let me down so I continue to shop here. It took 4-5 attempts for the Q to resolve an issue on a large value purchase so I no longer purchase from them.
If HSN decided they no longer wanted to offer products we like, would it make sense to stay loyal to a company that doesn’t carry what we want❓Of course not❗️ Will watch as long as it carries products I like. But will start watching Evine since it now carries a few of my favorite products I used to order on HSN.
There are obvious advantages to dealing with Evine (6 payments for just about everything). HOWEVER, their shipping (if you are on the West Coast) is slower than snail mail, and slower than QVC and HSN combined. The return policy is exactly what was posted. You have 30 days from the day you ORDER (not the day it’s shipped) to return and it better be in their hands on day 30 or you aren’t going to get a refund). Take your chances and decide for yourself.
There is, however, a reason that the vendors are leaving, and it’s not just because they are being replaced by the newer, bigger name. But that honestly goes for all the brands that play musical shopping channels.
PS: I know Akos Jankura LOVES Evine.
i buy from evine and haven’t had any problems right at christmas time and it came within a few days. i love it and i am very happy with it. i once got the wrong necklas a few tears ago, i sent it back and they were very good about it and they sent the right one and im very pleased eith evine.
As far as I know..
Products on HSN have to be returned also, before the 30 days are up.
