How has working out changed your life?
Living healthy and taking care of yourself has an incredible effect on the happiness you get out of life. It makes every day literally FEEL better! How has working out changed your life? Join the conversation April 14 and learn about how Zumba changed mine! :smileyvery-happy:
Zumba has completly changed my life! 6 years ago the closest thing to a brother in my life was murdered and I was lost. At first I was so depressed I couldnt eat at all, then I was depressed and ate everything.
Fast forward a few years and a studio right down the street was offering classes and my husband pushed me to go and I never turned back. yes I lost weight but I gained soo much confidence, friendships and I felt like me again!
Today I am a licenced Zumba instructor and a Zumba Jammer. I love Zumba and I’m pretty sure Zumba loves me too! See you in Orlando!
So happy to see you share the Z-Love with HSN. My personal experience led me from dancing with the DVDs and YouTube videos to hiding in the back of the class to becoming a Zumba Instructor. Zumba is not a workout. It is my time to have fun, dance and be with my Z-family. I have not only lost weight but I have gained confidence to do things I would have never tried before. The best part is you can modify the workout to your level of comfort. Give it a try! And on a side note: Loretta Bates is one the best. She is truly genuine and does really embody the spirit of Zumba.
Loretta I am watching your show tomorrow. I am always open to new ideas on staying healthy!:smileyhappy:
The equipment I purchased gave me a place to hang my coat in the bedroom! lol
*I really need to find an activity that I enjoy so I can get some exercise lol
I just cut an article out of the Pinellas Park newspaper that offers one hour Zumba Fitness Classes on Saturdays…for $5.00. I want to join the classes…the HSN offer looks like just what I need for the days that I do not attend the classes and want to practice. This is a win-win for me because I am 63 years old…my daughter and grand daughter will be able to use the DVDs that I cannot master.
I hope that low impact needs have been considered when developing this offer.
Please make should that the issues with DVDs not working have been resolved before shipping my order…I will take an extended delivery date if necessary. I can wait…I just want everything working when I receive it.
I’d get pretty winded, and couldn’t figure out why my throat hurt so much when hiking or working out hard…. finally my doctor gave me an inhaler, for exercise induced asthma and it helps!!! But, I’ve bought so much equipment, videos, gym memberships, and I’ve injured myself with a couple of the beachbody workouts to where i couldn’t work out for weeks.. and overall, I like hiking best. I do like my zumba, have not hurt myself doing those DVD’s! Zumba won’t leave you feeling worn out, it just gets your muscles moving all over your body. I even bought the pilates chair thinking theres no way I could hurt myself on that one! 🙂
To tell the truth I have been at it since January and not the 1st.
I am watching those carbs simple as that. I am moving and exercising more.
Spring is here and I am outdoors a lot moving. Nothing like yard work to move
muscles you have not used over winter. Plus I do power walks in all I have lost
over 12 pounds yes I feel a lot better and my sugar is within normal range.
There is nothing more important then your health.
Congrats to everyone who are attaining their goals.
I intend to watch Zumba for new ideas.:womanhappy:
I started to get healthy over a year ago, and I haven’t felt this good since my mid-20’s.
I could do more, but I am taking it slow…eating better and exercising when I can.
I have been excercising regularly now for about 7 weeks and I have more energy and stamina. I also have lost 7 lbs, yeah with 18 more to go. Once I started a regular regimine of excercising it no longer takes a lot of effort or finding time to do it. I want to do it because of the way I know feel being active vs the way I was feeling being inactive. I started out doing 15 minutes 2x a day and now I am up to 1/2 2x a day. Sometimes I just put music on crank up the sound and dance. But I do something everyday because I want to! I feel so good afterwards!!:womanhappy:
