High BP in men:
Are there any men out there taking an Andrew Lessman supplement for High BP; if so please let me know which one is best. My son-in-low has it and I would like to let him know. Thanks so much
I just want to add that although Andrew Lessman is quite informative, I agrree with posters that he is NO Dr. I myself have some background in physical fitness and nutrition, I’ll say be careful what supplements you all take, and keep in mind, all supplements have to pass through your kidneys and liver. This is added work on these organs, and not exactly a natural occurance. I used to take LOT"S of vitamins, (being a personal trainer), but have come to the realization, a healthy, well balanced diet, is all we need. As far as a medical condition…yes, as the others said here, consult your DR.
I personally have tried a few of Andrew’s supplements, and couldn’t take them…like Calcium, for one. I see his line contains MEGA doses of supplements which may be o.k for some if your lacking, but seriously, I wouldn’t count on these for a medical problem.
I agree with BB, please know his Number, sitting, standing, lying down, and also have thorough blood work, EKG, etc. Before I start on any vitamin, I bring the idea to my doctor, if diagnosed with High Blood Pressure he will go from there. Before I began on Andrews Supplements, I have a complete Blood Work Up, depending also on age, never treat symptoms with holistic, Please get your doctors orders, Andrew is not a Dr. Hope all is well, have a great day and week, sending much happpiness always, td:)
Dolor64—First do you mean to treat HBP, or a safe supplement for your sonil who is already taking blood pressure medication ?
I would first make sure he has first consulted his MD and is already being treated as well as monitoring his BP.
I am all for prevention but to treat HBP he truly needs to be seen be a Dr and then possibly began a vitamine by Andrew Lessman.
