What types of clothing would you like HSN to carry?
I would love to see some free flowing hi-low linen/cotton tank tops. That don’t cling. Like Marla’s butterfly tee or box top in a cool summer tank. It has to be flattering to us full figured gals. Also a nice cool linen long vest that can be worn as the 3rd piece with a tank; but cool for a hot summer day. In white and light colors.
I’d to see a knit crop and capris pant that doesn’t grab the leg for us ladies that have heavier legs.
What would you like to see that is missing?
Dresses, that are knee legnth, or shorter, sick of the maxi for summer too hot and never in petite!, I am 5″1″. 50 inches is not for me. I love faux wrap or surplice top, in berry colors, or black and white, long sleve and short sleeve. great for busty women! I would buy in every color! dresses too! They can be low cut, I have tons of colorful cami’s! A cigarette pant in petitie would be great! Colleen made one inthe past and I missed it! Diane Gilman makes a great faux wrap!, hers are always long sleeved though! and how about cotton ot mesh for summer!!
HSN is to be trying to be hip and trendy, right?
So where r the small summer shorts – not Bermuda shorts, not those JS booty shorts – shorts that cover half of the thigh?!?!
I don’t know what I’d do wo my SOFFE cheer shorts, bc this is a HOT summer!!!
I’d like to see 1) more empire waist tops, 2) less tunic tops and more regular length tops, plus 3) more flare jeans in regular length. I’d be purchasing more things! :catvery-happy:
i wish hsn would carry really pretty, comfortable, low heeled (two inches) wide, dressy pumps. i don’t want “old lady” shoes, even though i am one. i just want a pretty pump that fits well and that i can walk in. does it even exist? however, i must say, buying shoes online is risky. i really should know better. perfume and shoes need to be experienced in the real-world. i still believe in miracles, though.
1-Fashions in a length that I could wear out of the box.
2-Less muted colors, many vendors on HSN offer beautiful lines however the colors are too bland for my taste .
A. Stuff that is not hot. Seriously anti-hot stuff. That includes:
1. undergarments made of coolmax or similar cooling moisture-wicking fabrics
2. Mesh dresses, skirts and tops lined with also mesh. Cotton no matter how lightweightis still not as awesome as mesh. But very thin cotton and linen – especially somehow processed to not wrinkle as much – would be good as well.
3. More crocheted Slinky items. If Slinky could POSSIBLY make those at least 33″ or longer, I would be happier than a … well… somebody very happy.
B. Items in interesting prints. This is what drives me to shop Modcloth, Torrid and on occasion others – interesting prints. I just got an awesome thin cotton shirt from Talbots, apple patterned! I am a sucker for interesting prints.
C. Items in length that fits me. Shorter sleeves, shorter pants. But longer rise. Me personally – empire waist or simply higher waist everything. I know that some of you prefer waists the other way around – so I guess it is, more variety in lengths of everything and where the waist is.
D. More stuff for work. Blazers, blouses, etc. But at least partially – stuff that lets you show your personality. cat patterned blouses, photoreal cats embroidered on shirt pockets, cats and space ships places on those blazers…. Oh fine, at least flowers or dragons. and math formulas. blouses with Heidi Daus buttons.something like that.
E. On that note, shoes for work thyat fit achy feet and bad ankles and knees. Something that provides superior arch support but looks professional. In essence, the opposite of athleisure. Athleisure makes regular things look like you’re going to the gym in them. I want items that are the other way around – look dressy and work-presentable but feel like you can go to the gym in them. NOT the silly uncomfortable flats with thin flat soles – actual decent arch support. I am thinking something like maybe SAs shoes.
F. CAROLYN STRAUSS COLLCTIONS!!!!! HSN is never the same after kicking out my favorite vendor!!!! (Maggie Sweet would be sweet too)
I’d like to see the Pepperberry brand sold on HSN. It’s clothing for size D cup and larger, and designed to still show you have a waist. I’ve never found a fit anywhere else.
More clothes offered in petite sizes! Also, more clothes that can be worn to the office. We dress pretty casually where I work, but a lot of what’s offered here is just not suitable.
I am obsessed with Miss Me jeans and would love to see them on HSN.
I’d just be happy if they made sure they had stock on Marla Wynne’s basic items. Her beautiful sleeveless summer tee shirt sold out in the snap of the fingers. Also brought in for sale kind of late in the season. We need our summer clothing early in many parts of the country.
I love Gloria Vanderbilt jeans. I have some from years ago and they still fit (thanks to weight watchers lol) and they by far are the most comfortable jeans.
Athleisure wear to fit 34-27-34!
I wish they would get some TRUE petite length jeans with a little elastic at the waist.I know many must be like me and suffer from lower back pain if there is not some give at the waist…Otherwise,I am happy with all the clothes I have bought here.:womanhappy:
Most importantly, they need to carry petite and tall sizes in most everything. That’s missing!
Mesh dresses and tops of various kinds to wear to work and not be hot. Also, undergarments and slips and camis as well as tops made of coolmax and similar modern fabrics with serious moisture-wicking properties.
Blazers and suiting to wear to work, IN PETITE AND TALL! Clever suiting solutions for when it is hot, especially.
GOOD comfortable shoes on low heel that *look professional*, not some athletic stuff but like pumps. Not the flat nonsense shoes with completely flat thin sole that is uncomfortable but real comfortable shoes like SAS; extra bonus if they LOOK professional but are accommodating orthotics or otherwise have extra support.
More sizes. Add whatever size would go before XS – XXS? XSS? – whatever – and 4-5X.
More interesting prints. Clever prints, geeky prints, cats with lazers and more cats. Especially on items to wear to work (those need to be a bit more sedate in colors/patterns and it can be done)
More pop culture/movies/games tie-in clothes that don’t look like some cheap Halloween costumes but can be worn at least casually and business casual.
Above all I think it is important that they carry a variety of clothes. I shudder to read people condemning lines they do not like – it’s like, you know, it is unreasonable to demand that your taste only be accommodated! Will you please let others enjoy something *they* like?!
Would be a buyer if HSN carried more leather dresses and skirts in colors other than black or brown. Also at knee lengths. Maybe Hal Rubenstein will this fall/winter.
