Were You Wearing Any On-Line Purchases Today
I am asking this because I noticed that today almost everything I am wearing is from my on-line purchases.
From HSN: Joan Boyce jeweled sandals, Jay King Apatite necklace and earrings. Evine: OSO casual dress, Chuck Clemency ring, Envicta watch oh and my cell phone is from Q. LOL. What about you guys?
Every day. 🙂

I can’t get enough of online shopping- it’s been this way for quite some time. I’d say 80-90% of what I own was purchased online. You just can’t beat the value. I have found some unexpected great deals when I do manage to get to an actual store- my definition of that is a great blouse or cardi for under $20. Whenever I see something that I’m interested in at a department store I always check online first. One of my favorite hobbies is browsing the vast selection of clothes and jewelry online. I honestly can’t believe the great deals I’ve scored over the years on quality items. And who doesn’t love "window shopping" in the middle of the night?

OMG this is so amazing!!! I’mm getting used to all the new features. This is so user friendly Wow. I’m not puter smart at all. I describe myself as an 8 trac granny living in a micro chip world. I was thinking if I removed everything I’ve purchased from hsn, my home (esp my closet) would be almost empty.
Thanks hsn for making so many things possible for so many people

Today I’m wearing one of this year’s Iman tees with a pair of khaki Capri’s from another shopping network. I’m wearing a pair of Yellow Box sandals from HSN. My watch today is the pink oriental goldtone Rarities watch from several seasons ago along with large pink 14k gold and pink sapphire Rarities earrings. I’m wearing the Rarirites pink gold tone ring with the moonstones and zircons. An evil eye bracelet from Rarities is next to my watch along with one of Carol’s stretch sapphire bracelets. A long pink buddha necklace with jet beads from Rarities completes the outfit today. As usual, I’m receiving a ton of compliments on my jewelry! Thanks Carol Brodie!
I would say I acquire 50/50 online/local retail purchases. Sometimes, I try something in the store and then buy online at better price. Sometimes I miss something in the store and buy online. Sometimes I wait for the sale, miss it and pay an arm and a leg just because I hesitated for too long and HAD TO HAVE item at any price…
Many brands I love are not available from shopping networks. Some are SEROUSLY overpriced. Generally, I stay away from byuing shoes online and almost NEVER buy "Today Special".
I have never bought food online. When you factor in shipping (usually $15-$20+ and tax…) the SAME products in the SAME packaging are available from…. Sams Club or Publix at half price. And you do not have to wait for delivery. But, this is a valid option for people with exceptionally demanding jobs and/or limited mobility. If you cannot hop into a car and drive to the grocery store it is nice to have food delivered to your door.
I do not know if this is still true… QVC used to sell wine and gave guarantee "If you do not like this wine, you can call in and get a refund, no questions asked, you do not even have to send it back…" I was REALLY TEMPTED to order a lot of wine, drink it, call customer service and say "I want a refffund, because thissss wine ssssucks" <<hiccups>>:smileylol::heart:
Thursday, Aug 20-2015… I had to have an MRI yesterday, (when this thread was first posted). To this event, I wore my schmata dress from InGear and my house-slippers from JCPenney… both purchased online.
:womanhappy:I agree if I didn’t have on items I had purchased online I too would be naked. Not only wearing everything I purchased online, but I use my keurig(Q) coffee maker first thing every morning, then I bathe with Philosophy (Q), use all my creams from Prai (HSN), dress in some fantastic fashions from one of the shopping channels (to include) my shoes, my purse, my cell phone, and I am using the tablet I got from Fingerhut. I do all my shopping online except for groceries. I have on occasion bought them online too when I was bedridden and couldn’t get up. No made in the USA brick and mortar store could do that!!
And of course all of my bling-bling is from online also. My diamond ring and earring set from JTV. You can be stylish and full and never have to leave home.
Sevilla coin watch. Sevilla necklace and earrings.
I prefer to purchase good old made in the USA clothing at the local brick and morter stores. You know, the ones that you can try on and look see before buying.
With NO S&H charges, I save even more and besides, you can deal with real people as opposed to a chat window.
If I didn’t wear stuff I ordered online, I’d be naked.
