Wendy Williams clothing
I was interested in purchasing several pieces, but didn’t because the fabric of this new line looked so tight and clingy. I could see the material clinging to the waistline and hips of the different models. Most American females are not built like those models and do not have bulldozer boobs and the bone thin frame of Wendy. I wish her clothing line was made of a more forgiving fabric.
I totally agree…her clothing is way overpriced and the dresses are too short. They need to come at least right to the knee or just below the knee for us mature grown women. I would rather go to a dept store and purchase this stuff minus the S&h. I catch awesome sales just about any day of the week at
The dept stores and the clothes look much better quality wise pkys no s& H.
I think she’s taking terrible advantage of her position as a talk show host by charging insane prices for her non-designer clothing. $80 for a maxi dress? Really?? The prices of those garments are insulting.
She is no more ‘fake’ than anyone else. She IS talking too much and saying wrong things, though. Wendy we know you are not a designer. Allow the hosts to carry the presentations.
All of the models did not have firm bodies. They wore and modeled the more flowing and loose type clothes. I doubt Wendy dressed the women, so she is not responsible for any undergarments they might have worn.
I didn’t purchase any of it because in spite of pre-talk about clothes should be affordable…. This line of clothing was Overpriced for what it was (Much like DG’s line). I will never pay $50.00 for a simple top with a diagonal hem.
I’m sorry, I have to go raw and speak my mind. She’s fake booji. It doesn’t get too much more ghetto than Wendy. I don’t like her style. Her clothes are ridiculously tight. Yet, she talks about empowering women and not catering to society’s stereotypes. What a joke!
I noticed that also. She had all kinds of body shapes in those dresses, yet not one lump or bump showing. It was impossible with some of the model’s bodies for that to happen on its own…even with what she says is ‘forgiving’ material. I would think that most had shapers or some kind of shaping undergarment on under those dresses. That to me would invalidate anything she said re how well the dress ‘hides’ imperfections.
I personally don’t like wearing shapers, and even though I’m thin…would have to in order for her dresses to fit without a lump or bump showing. Shapers to me are hot and uncomfortable… especially living in a hot desert climate. I enjoy well fitting clothes that don’t require a specific undergarment, but that’s just my personal opinion, and her dresses were so tight fitting yet…not one model had a bump? A lump?
Even the plus sized models didn’t have lumps or bumps showing today.
I agree the american women have lumps and bumps. I have a retail backgroung and you would have more sales which is the bottom line.
