V-neck tops
This question is directed at all of the fashion designers at HSN. Is it possible to make more sweaters, t-shirts,tops etc in V-neck style instead of rounded neckline? Those of us that are older prefer this style, I know I do. ( I am in my late 60’s). Please consider this suggestion, very much appreciated.

Sharon 25 I agree, plus a larger breasted woman looks better in a v neck, the round neck makes us look larger.

I am also in my 60’s and have always preferred the V-neck style, as long as the V is not too plunging. This is a great post. Hope the designers will hear us.

I agree. I have always liked the V-neck over all others, I think its more flattering, only problem is they seem to make it too plunging….not good. Plus, I think your jewelry looks nicer with the V-neck, then with any other neckline.

For tops… faux wrap, wrap style, very forgiving to curves. Great neckline! can put cute color contrasting cami’s underneath! So maybe HSN’s designers can look into this style for tops for spring? How about in cotton, cotton blend. This summer was HOT we need light shoet sleeved tops! I would wear these all year under a cardigan or jacket.

Give me a V neck all day long!!! I do not like crew necks at all as they do not suit my body type, i.e. DDs. They look enormous in crew or high round neck tops and dresses. People think that V necks show/draw attention to your DDs, but it’s the other way around, believe me!!

I agree with all of you as I’m just the opposite. Tall, thin, longer thin face, 34B bust and V-neck tops do not flatter me at all as they make me look thinner and quite lanky. It can be strapless, low cut, or round just not that V.:womanhappy:

I agree that a V-neck is more flattering for a large bust as ? mentioned. I think a V is more balancing for broad shoulders too. I agree that it should not be too deep of a plunge and that it works better w some jewelry, as ? and ? said.
However, I made an effort to only wear crew neck tops this yr to protect my decollete from photoaging, LOL! My mother’s age spots show if she wears a V-neck, and I found a freckle on my chest last yr. Anyways, by using new skincare and wearing the crew necks, my decollete looks better than ever! If I wear a V-neck, I will make sure to slather SPF all over the exposed skin, LOL.
