The DG2 sizing riddle
I love the Fkexstretch fabric. I now have all but one color in her Flexstretch jeggings. Each is a perfect fit. I take a medium and always , in the old days, take a 10 and a small top. So, I was thrilled when I saw the Flexstretch in skinny jeans. I ordered all three basic colors. Only one fit, the other two were so small. So, I exchanged for a 12, which I never have ordered and hoped for the best. They came and fit like a 10, I at least have them now,but assuming the same factory made the Flexstretch , how could the sizing be so off? If you look at the reviews, I am not alone. It is all so needless to get the sizing so wrong. Just venting, as many others have……
I got off the DG2 train years ago. I think I made the right decision for myself. This is particularly true since the many complaints I’ve read over the years for her inconsistencies. Colors being made in different materials and smells. NOPE. Besides, I have go to brand when I want some that seem to do fine for me. I don’t wear that many jeans anyway!
HI FOXIE:smileyhappy: IF YOU FIGURE OUT THE ‘RIDDLE’ …..YOU MUST LET US IN ON IT!!! :womanlol: LOL …..SAME PROB’S :womanfrustrated: HERE AS ALL OF YOU! DG2 IS THE BEST! ….IF YOU CAN FIND PAIRS THAT ‘FIT’! :womanvery-happy::heart:
Foxie2, you are definitely not alone, unfortunately! I hope by now that DG has the sizing “coded” so she knows which factory produced which product. That way, the hundreds (thousands?) of missized returns could be tracked to specific factories that need to be fired. I have returned many DG jeggings and jeans due to sizing inconsistencies. Sometimes it’s due to the DG color: white is always the tightest (size up), chambray the most relaxed (size down). It IS a riddle!
I have quite a few jeggings and jeans that I suffer a bit with, having to constantly pull up, for example. And I have three prized DG jeggings that are winners of the DG Size Lottery. I love them! It really is a shame that the sizing is all over the place. I gave up some time ago. But good to know you like the Flexstretch. I may try them (nervously)!
