Thank You for Returning Hemmed Yummie Jeans
Dear Yummie Returner,
Thank you for returning a pair of HEMMED Yummy Skinny jeans. Not sure why you would go through the time and/or expense to hem the jeans and return them. If you are the one who hemmed the jeans, you’re an excellent tailor. The fabric is so nice and soft, you must have washed and worn them many times during the 30 day return period. Next time, please check the pockets because you left a note in the back pocket. I hope you picked up Sean at 6:45pm and made it to the bank as your note suggested.
I am not going to return the jeans to HSN because I appreciate receiving a pair of hemmed Yummie jeans. The clearance price is a steal, and after washing, jeans are ready to wear. Next time, 1/2" shorter would be nice. Oh, and I have 5 other pairs that need to be hemmed. Are you interested in hemming the rest?

I’m glad you found the positive Southernlights! Here is my story about receiving returned merchandise, and a bit more than I was expecting. This happened just today.
I wanted to try the wonder core work out machine (the $99.00 one that was on sale last week for $89.95 or something like that). It arrive at my rental office yesterday (where ups left it since I was not home) and I picked it up and unpacked it about 1/2 hour ago. Low and behold, there were exercise exercise bands in the box that were not advertised on the web site. My question is, how long was this CLEARLY returned unit sitting before it was sent out to me, as it is clearly a different configuration as what was advertised. I’m not complaining about the extras, and the machine seems to function properly.
I also found, inside the box, a return slip from Joann in NJ (I won’t say the last name). She returned this unit because she just did not like it. I now have her name, her address, and her customer account #. My concern is they are sending out one customer’s account number to another customer.
It give’s me pause when I return something to HSN. Now I have to ask myself is my name, address, and account number going to end up in another customer’s hands?
Anyway, I hope I can commit to using the machine as my core does need some strengthening and I need to get my body moving before it stops moving all together. I’m also pleased that I will be able to do more than originally anticipated with the machine due to the extra exercise bands that I received (that are now apparently not offered with this particular machine).
why, this is just shocking! HSN would never resell used/worn/altered merchandise! It’s totally against policy. Shocking I tell you! :womanwink:
Customer Service will give you a credit for keeping the jeans. I received a pair of clearly worn HSN jeans several years ago. There was $40.00 in one of the pockets and HSN gave me a partial credit for the jeans. Ended up getting the jeans for free…thanks HSN.
On a serious note, it never occurred to me that I could return an ALTERED piece of clothes. I always assumed that if I hemmed it or changed it somehow materially, I could not send it in…

(HSN STILL – after all the stories of getting clearly used merchandise – denies they send it to people. I always wondered why they bother working so hard to deny it. I mean, it is clearly obvious much of the time, and those of us who stalk sold out items know what we will get if we are lucky.
hey I once got a CSC top with a *matching pair of pants tucked inside* which I did not order! (they were a size smaller but still)
Oh how funny. Guess they hemmed them, wore them to their event, and returned and got their money back! Must be one of those serial returners!!! LOL
But nice that they fit you. Saved you some work…but would be nice if HSN would give you a discount for receiving used merchandise! ROFL
I would be sad if I received hemmed jeans. I need every bit of length I can get.
