SPREADING HER NASTY VIRUS

I have heard other hosts mention that they are alone in their own space; the models are actually in another room and that as soon as the show is over, they put their masks on – everyone wears masks in the building. So more than likely, no one else was at risk

However, I agree that today, it makes no sense to go out when you sound sick as it freaks people out. On Easter, I finally returned to a live mass after a year of online services. And guess what? Several rows back, someone was hacking and coughing – that deep cough that sounds like bronchitis. Have we learned nothing? People, if you are sick, please stay home. I don’t even want someone’s cold!

I would be willing to bet that HSN insisted she be tested and that all precautions are being followed. I doubt they would let her work if she had Covid.

She said she caught a cold from her grandson. Do you know anything about her situation??? She was probably tested for COVID and she may have gotten her vaccinations too.

She hosted The List Thursday nite and said she had a cold

Today, Saturday with Colleen, she mentioned her allergies.

You’re awfully judgemental for someone who doesn’t know anything about her situation.

I just checked the Pollen count app and Tampa has HIGH pollen & HIGH winds. As does most of the rest of Florida.

Thanks gypsydog. I happen to be in Florida as a “snowbird” from the North, and because of the pandemic been here over a year. The one thing I am attune to are sinuses. The allergy count for oak, grass and other things in our area are over 11 and still counting. I do not believe I have ever seen anything this high in the North, But, the higher the count, the more susceptible one is to all the irritants. The Gulf Coast of Florida has had very little rain. Today, we are experiencing colder temperatures (40-50) and winds that could gust 40-45mph. I would give Colleen the benefit of the doubt since she is in Tampa on the Gulf Coast.

I happen to agree, that if she appear sick, she probably shouldn’t be presenting, however, we don’t know what her situation is and we don’t know what the protocols at HSN are. It could simply be the host’s allergies. Again, I agree it’s not sending a good message…. and as far as sending a message goes, your message seemed to have a tone of judgment and disdain, inappropriate for the situation. You’re not in the studio with her, afterall. I do hope you have a happier day tomorrow.
