Soft and Cozy Angel Wrap…Help!
i ordered several because of all the good reviews. I feel like I am wearing a decorated blanket. Can’t really figure it out. You have to wear pants because of the length. It is not great to walk the dogs in because when you bend over to clean up,it touches the ground. The sleeves are big and flowy and can be a hindrance. Please tell me how you use this. I bought 2 for gifts but not sure they would like them. The wrap truly is soft and cozy. I just seem to be missing something. What is it? Thanks
I just ordered the NFL soft n cozy PATRIOTS wrap on sale $24.95/2-flex.
I have until midnite to cancel..I’d like to read more reviews here, if anyone has the NFL wrap!
My Angel Wrap is for laying around and watching a movie with ice cream! Cats love to snuggle too, the fabric is so soft.
gise, you sound like me. I couldn’t figure out what it really is. I agree that there is too much material and it makes doing chores difficult. I did wear it to walk the dogs. When I had to bend over, I threw the sides around my neck like a stole. I am keeping mine but debating about giving them as a gift.
I ordered the gorgeous silver, it’s very soft and warm and has a lot of fabric…maybe too much although I’m 5′ 10" and size 8-10.
For the amount of roominess it should make it easier to move around in.
Yet doing simple household chores: cooking, dishes, making the bed, or eating, etc. I fear it catching fire, getting sopping wet, catching it on something, or getting so dirty I’d have to wash it everyday.
I’ve tried experimenting several other ways it could be worn, and considered having it altered.
I think it’s great for answering the door, doing some major lounging, and staying warm and snuggly. That may be what it’s supposed to be used for. I wanted something to replace PJ’s, sweats, or a robe.
I’m on the fence as I love the feeling of soft & cozy against my skin.
Girlygirl, love your name, I think I figured out how to best wear it. We don’t get super cold weather but I know I will get a lot of use out of the wrap. It is so warm and super soft. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Kelscuddles, I have 4, 2 from last year and 2 from this year, my Chicago Bears one I wear to the store and all over town. I drive in it even and I haven’t experienced any problems. No lint or anything. I guess you just have to keep practicing until you can get it. I’m only 5’8" and weigh 138 lbs so it’s not the size I don’t think. Did you snap the sleeves so that they make a sleeve? The ones from last year don’t have snaps just the buttons in the front. Plus they keep me so snuggly warm. Hope you can adjust to yours. :womanhappy:
Hope washing it works. I unbuttoned and unsnapped it and just put it on as a wrap and liked it better. Thanks for your responses.
Thanks,TREKKY. I was thinking that I could wear it out but now realize it is basically a blanket. I was wearing a red tee today. Looked down and had lint all over it. Will wash it and see if that helps. If not,all three are going back. Glad you love yours.
I use mine in the house, around me, in my recliner. Mostly. I sometimes wear it when I take my dog outside.
Don’t know that I would walk my dog with it, probably because of the problem you are experiencing, If I could walk. (I’m disabled and in a wheelchair when I leave the house.
So I guess I use it more for a shawl in the house, to keep me warm, at night and in the daytime when it gets excessivly cold.
You can put it over your shoulders, and pull the sides over your hands, and still work the mouse on the puter. Keeps your hands warm without limitations.
I also use it in the summertime as a back pillow on my recliner.
Hope you learn to love it like I do.
