Sizing for the Yummie TSV Leggings?
I need help, the last time Yummie offered shapewear I couldnt fit into them, even after I sized up, after 2 returns I gave up. I like the TSV but was going to size up 2 sizes? Nothing in the description online either? Advise?
Yummie leggings are shapewear, and are a snug fit. You shimmy into them. I have both styles, with the (regular) leggings being the first TS, and got them true to size. After trying them on thought I would need to size up.
Another poster here bought them. She thought that she may need to size up, then decided to try them on again before exchanging. She said that they had stretched to fit after first fitting and she will not need a smaller size. They do stretch out after trying them on the first time, and go on quickly the next. I tried it and mine fit. Now I always buy true to size.
The boot-cut are more generous in my opinion, as well. The length in this TS is 1/2" shorter than the previous 2 pack boot-cut TS which were 32". I’m not getting this set today. If they had offered Tall I would have.
Depending on how snug you want them, you could go up a size and try that. Wear them around the house and see if you like them. They are well made, and very sturdy. If you go by the size chart and are between sizes, you may need to size up.
If you are not looking for shapewear, these may not be what you want. The Two by Vince Camuto 389-442 are my favorite non-shapwear leggings. They sold out and I don’t know if they have, or are going to, restock them. They are rich black in color, and very well made leggings. I highly recommend these if they bring them back. Mine are true to size and fit perfectly.
Hi Bettybooper. I bought yummies boot cut last year. I am 5’6 and I wear a size 12 I carry my weight in my hips. I got the regular in size large. They fit fine. They are a little long. I am thinking so you can wear heels with them? anyway I wear them with tennis shoes. They are not a loose fit. I find them comfortable and they do hold you in. Hope this helps:smileyhappy:
I have been ordering YT leggings and yoga (boot cut) for 2 years and love them. I’m tall and a size 4 and in the leggings I get a medium. You MUST size up at least 1 size. Now I find the boot cut run a little more generous. I have both medium and small but the small fit much better. No matter how short or tall you are the leggings will fit. When I first took them out of the package I almost laughed but when I put them on they are plenty long enough and I am a 34" inseam. They will work for anyone who has an inseam of 27" to 36". The boot cut are not as forgiving with the length.
Both of the items are very high quality with deeply saturated color and really hold up well. When you first take the leggings out of the package they look tiny and you will have to shimmy into them the first time. They are so comfortable while holding everything in the right place.. Neither the waist or knees bag out and they wash very well. I am surprised to see the 2 styles combined because of the sizing difference between the two.
I am not getting the TS because the boot cut are shorter then last time and I want a smaller size then the leggings.
I can see why there would be a lot of confusion.Just looked at the Yummie sizing chart..The YT Size, YT Seamless Size and the YT Denim Size are so different.Nothing fits the same.
I would suggets posting your regular size and getting advice from someone else who is your size that has tried this brand. I have purchased some really great clothing from HSN that I love, but the size charts are inaccurate, at least in the brands that I love.
Got it! I am listed in 2 size categories…the L/XL, and XL/1X..I guess based on past purchases I should go up. I dont wanna have to return twice again. Honestly they need to address during presentations.
