How can this be called a “TEE” without sleeves?
Isn’t the whole point of a “tee” the shape with a straight body and sleeves sticking out the sides and no zipper, ruffle or anything else?
397-427 “sleeveless, back zip peplum tee”
I think it’s cute but I wouldn’t call it a tee.
It looks like a Boxed Pleat Sleeveless Top to me?? LOL, maybe Philosophy can do a body wash, like pure grace wearing your favorite white t shirt on a summer day…. 🙂 I don’t know who names the clothes, lol, nor gives them their color names, it’s beyond me. Well, I am Zipping my Mouth….again. Diane, Be Kind, We don’t live in the world of Rewind anymore.

Things that make you go "hummmmmmmmmmmm" !
I’m not sure a T can’t have some extra stuff like a ruffle or zipper or flair… but I think the 1 thing a T always seems to have is………sleeves! Otherwise… isn’t it called a tank or a shell?
Cindy, do a search on peplum tee! This one is a sleeveless Tee with a peplum. :smileyhappy: It is fashion forward. The right peplum tee would look great with jeans or shorts and cowboy boots!
Sorry…oh please forgive me but…I’ve been keeping this inside for hours, and..uhmmm…
Somehow when I hear the word…’tank’ top…???
I think of Vinnie Barbarino
"Ooooo oooo ooooo…Mistah Katahhhhh…Mistah Katahhhhh????
~~~~~ :smileyvery-happy: :smileyvery-happy: :smileyvery-happy: ~~~~~~
That is a cute top but I prefer sleeves.:smileyhappy:
my t shirt sheets have no sleeves…….lol!
I have V Neck T Shirts…scoop neck T Shirts…round neck T Shirts…crew neck T Shirts…but they all have 2 things in common….
When you lay them out…they are the shape of a T.
Tank tops are different than sleeveless tee shirts. Tank tops are usually more fitted and the neckline is much lower. Lands End, Ann Taylor, Gap and others have sold sleeveless tees for years. I rarely wear anything with sleeves in the summer and have both tanks and sleeveless tees. But I wouldn’t call the DG one a tee shirt…..a zipper?
Hmmmmm. All of my T shirts have sleeves. My sleeveless ones are tanks….
Well now Cindy…that’s a good question.
I think calling it a ‘tee’ is a stretch. Guess if you took off the peplum, you’d be left with a sleeveless ‘tee’ of sorts…but with??? Really? (shrug)
Looks more like a short ‘duster’ to me…:smileyfrustrated:
Cindy, Tee’s don’t always have sleeves. Many companies sell sleeveless cotton tee shirts with different modified crew neckline. They are usually cotton but I don’t think I’ve ever seen one with a zipper. Leave it to DG. LOL
