Marla Wynne gals….help!
Any ladies here, wear the Marla Wynne Flatter Fit pants? I see a color that I love (she also offers petite) and am extremely interested. I am not fond of below the waist though. That look is not for my apple shape. I’m done with looking sloppy in below the waist and low on the waist pants. I prefer "at the waist."
Please chime in if you own these pants. Also, feel free to chime in about her apparel in general if you want to. I called HSN CS and of course, they don’t have the info I need, so I figured I’d come get the real deal from the community.:catwink:
Petite looking for at the waist or "just below the waist." Thanks y’all!!!!
Serena… I don’t know anything about Marla’s pants, however, I’ve purchased some of her tops and have a few things to say about her lovely Line.
First, read the Reviews.
Second, ALWAYS check the ‘Details’ for Sizing.
When I first ordered her Turtlenecks & Dusters, (in White and Rose),I ordered my regular size: XL.
When I got them, the Turtlenecks fit perfectly but the Dusters were HUGE! That’s when I came back online to check the ‘Details’ and, sure enough, the Turtlenecks were True-to-Size (i.e. 2-inches of Ease in the Fit); whereas the Dusters were 4 to 6-inches of Ease in the Fit.
‘4 to 6-inches’? I yelled at the computer screen. ‘Are you kidding me? WHO, in their right mind, makes a garment 4 to 6-inches larger than NORMAL SIZING!?!’
I was pissed. I called Customer Service and complained… loudly. They gave me Free Shipping back and I reordered the Dusters in Medium. Imagine that, having to go from an XL to a Med, (which I haven’t seen in years, *lol*), in order to get a proper fit! Sheesh.
So, ALWAYS check those ‘Details’, it will save you a fortune in disappointment.
This is a Sizing Chart I have since made for myself…
XL = 2-3" of Ease
L = 4" of Ease
M = 6" of Ease
S = 7" of Ease
XS = 8" of Ease
But, of course, most of the ‘Details’ will say something like ‘4-6" of Ease’. In that case, I go with the larger of the two numbers to find the correct Size.
As well, I use this Sizing Chart for clothing I buy my husband on HSN and it always works.
Thank you sooo much for your reply foxie2! I can consider them (once I find out the rise).
They are not below the waist and are wonderful. Her clothes are filling my closet! The quality is tops and her color sense is what lots of us love. I would say try some and size down in the pants and size up if you try her jeans. Her tops tend to run a bit bigger. As she says, depends on the amount of drape and flow you want.
