Joy and Iman 22 section handbag with watch
Took a chance and ordered this handbag without reading reviews first. Should have read the reviews. Recieved the bag today. Leather is stiff and cheap looking and arrived with creases in the leather. After reading all reviews I fear the bag is likely to start falling apart quickly.
What is HSN’s policy on return shipping fees when the product arrives with the defects(creasing) I have mentioned above? Do I pay the shipping fee or do they? And if I keep the bag and it starts falling apart within the 30 days, do I pay shipping or do they to return the defective product?
Loved the look of the bag and ordered two one for myself and one for my daughter for Christmas 2014. When they arrived I didn’t like the way the zipper functioned so returned mine. My daughter liked it so she kept hers and now the outside zipper pocket leather is ripped on both ends. I did not like the quality of the leather in the first place and should have convinced her to return it. She carried it everyday for about 3 months and then told me it had ripped. We do not buy expensive purses and $80.00 was about the limit for me so when they arrived and I could see the quality was not there, I was disappointed. Now I am REALLY disappointed! I will call customer service but don’t expect a resolution. We’ve had synthetic purses last for years, not 3 months.
That name plate IS gaudy. Neither Joy Nor Iman are designers and nither has made any mark in design. Even if it were a quality bag, I wouldn’t want "Joy and Iman" on the name plate.
They should make that name plate Very, Very small and/ or change it to a symbol or initial logo.
I ended up returning mine last week. After carrying just a couple of times, the leather became rippled, plus it was super duper heavy with short handles, and I was embarrassed by the gaudy, brassy name plate on the front. I called customer service and did not have to pay to ship it back, since the leather was dented and rippled, ergo, "defective". HSN’s customer service is top notch, so, I would return before 30 days (unclear on the J&I warranty), simply call, 800-284-3900. I hope that helps, and you’re not alone with the let down on that bag.
Typically if you receive a defective item, you will not be charged return shipping costs. Please call Customer Service to discuss with them and they will make a note of this and not charge you shipping.
footrdr; My advice would be to either call the Customer service number for on-line orders (800.933.2887) or message them here at CUSTOMER SERVICE – NEED HELP forum right at bottom on left side of screen and tell them exactly what is wrong with your bag and they will help you out with no problems!! Good luck!! :womanhappy:
