HSN Needs to Maintain Slinky Brand, Add New Fashion designers not celebrities
What is happening to the quality of your products? Slinky Brand’s original fabric seems to be slowly disappearing and there seems to be less CSC as well! Please keep the quality of your clothes like you had before! We are not in awe of celebrities. Clothes made in USA please.
Thank you for taking the time to read this!
Actually my mom used to own a ready-to-wear business in the Philippines, (Half-American, Half -Filipino) she taught me to buy heavier fabrics clothes because they drape better on the body and that would either be jersey, double-georgette, or thick chiffon. The jersey mix with Slinky original fabric was good for spring, fall/winter and the new Slinky thinner ones are great for the summer. So far I’ve enjoyed wearing both and have not had any problems with Slinky brand.
I also used to like Carolyn Strauss for summer weather. I always get compliments for both brands. And I never hesitate to say where I get my clothes. I find that when I buy from home shopping I likely won’t have anyone with the same outfit specially in California. I do not like shopping at the malls because the quality of clothes have become so bad, cheap fabric, they tear easy and one wash they look like rags!
I tried Tiana and sometimes they have a nice print but the fit on the body is awkward specially on the chest area to the arms!
Diane Gilman needs to bring her very classy silk blouses back, they were beautiful and her matching sweats (top and bottom) were very classy too! Hope Jackie Schechter, Caroyn Strauss and Diane Gilman are taking the time to read this information. 🙂
I totally agree about Diane I have enough Jeans and would love to see more of her silks and fine fabric again. It’s almost as if we are being put on the back burner and being talked into things that we are not interested in. JMHO:catfrustrated:
CSC is gone. HSN seems to love the celebrities.
I have been afraid to order this brand as the clothing appears to be made from thin, see through materials, tops seem too short and again, pants seem too thin. Is this true?
I totally agree. I don’t care about celebrity endorsements; in fact, I tend not to buy from them. I would prefer more substance and less celebrity hype. Everything seems to be made in China today. I prefer USA made quality products.
And we are not all young fashionistas…perhaps a bit older but still want to look good and some of the things I see are just out there.
Remember Diane Gilman’s Natural Elements? They were lovely and classic. I don’t want to live in jeans constantly…or jeggings…or leggings.
There were also other lines with classic style that are now gone.
