HSN, could you offer pants with HIGHER RISES every now and then?
Against my better judgment, I ordered DG2 TS jeans. Not only are they too long and actually too big – the rise is still too low. They are better than some of the other ones, but still too low to accommodate THE BELLY. HSN, how’s about making longer rises in plus sizes every now and then? I understand somebody who doesn’t have any fat on their tummy wanting to showcase their flat stomachs and belly buttons, and good for them. But in the plus sizes – at least some times, not always, perhaps you could give us a choice of longer rises in brands other than Slinky? That includes short pants for short fat people like me. I need pants short, because my little legs are short. But I need enough on the top to accommodate the belly. All I ask is *some* offers. That TS would fit me if the waist was about 1" higher, give or take. And the pants themselves about 1" shorter.
Shaking head at myself – now, WHY would I order Diannes jeans, again? I KNOW better!
I totally agree with you. Even when I was young, I hated hiking up my jeans everytime I sat down. I have an apple shape, so it does not matter how much I weigh, just the dimentions go down, but the waist and hip ratio stays the same. Ordered the dg jeans too, against my better judgement, ordered down a size, fit fine, at first. After about an hour, the hiking began! LOL
I couldn’t agree more, massha! I can’t stand, and won’t wear, low-rise pants in any shape or form.
I committed the same ‘I knew better so why did I do it’ mistake with ordering her jeans. Yes, the rise is way too short for some of us…even though I am very slim I don’t like my rise low. It is uncomfortable to wear, causes muffin top even on slim people and look ridiculous. I prefer classic styling that fits at my waist because then I have a waist and not a roll halfway down from my waist.
I knew better and ordered them and the rise was awful.
Diane used to have decent nice clothing and I bought a lot of it.
But don’t care for sparkles, don’t care for low rise that looks like baggy pants.
Used to love her Natural Elements line. Classic and classy.
Now, I think she is in it for the numbers and the $$$ which is okay running a business but as an artiste I would think she would care about more than that.
mispell…MASSHA—I live to spell backwards
MASSAH—-Have you looked at a designer David Bitton ,I found him at Macys and he uses alot of Dianes materials in his designs. He has male and female. Had never heard of him until I wanted a new jean. The ones I found have a cool elastic waist, and elastic ankle. I was so tired of trying to wear the 20 year olds jeans and I hate the tight fitt but these were just right.
I have always been thin and it is terrible when you go to look for jeans that do not ride low -I hate that.
I did get a good deal on them….
