Fabulous Nikki Poulos
I held on tight through Melissa McCarthy’s stuff and some other stuff, but I simply cannot pass these fabulous flock velvet items! As it is I held on for too long and the Kate dress is completely sold out in 3X and I only waitlisted the olive in 2X – it might or might not fit. I snatched the Bridget dress in black geo and a mulberry – upon much agonizing over the choice of color! – kimono to go over it and the Kate dress if it ever materializes. I really have no space for clothes and I cannot even wear all the clothes I have even in the size that currently fits because I have too many, even unworn. Darn, how do I stop?! I have to say this though: I feel happy when I wear my beautiful clothes. The compliments I get, the way I feel myself in them – I lve it so much. Sometimes I stare at some of the stuff I have in astonishment: how can a simple garment be so pretty?! I really want the printed kimonos too, both of them.
Love my Nikki Poulus long black sweater kimono from last spring. Many of her outfits are too long on me-so sad. I also was in love with those burnout velvet kimono’s and scarfs! I love the recent resurgence of the kimono silhoutte in knits, velvets and chiffons. I think they look great with dresses and slim pants and tunics. I am waiting, along with so many, for Antthony’s annual Sweater Coat on 30 Sep. Pretty clothes just make us happy, so enjoy!
I have to stay away. It’s all just lovely!!!
Go for it, it sounds like you work a good steady job. You really like certain clothes. I can almost tell what pieces you
like just from your posts. We have never had a conversation. If you found something you like, you go for it. We only go round once in this lifetime. (Don’t want to start a Religious war) (Good thing I proofread, I wrote you had a seedy job) :womanhappy::heart:
