Diane Gilman demim skirt
I love Dianne Gilmans line. I have a closet full of her items. I would like to get a knee length denim skirt. My ideal length would be the same as her bermuda shorts, slightly A-line with a back vent (slit) She has done a skirt before, but it was a short skirt—us baby boomers need Knee length. How about it?
Wish I would’ve kept it but, I used to own a very nice maxi denim skirt from J.Jill. It was a simple elastic waist, slight A-line with slits on both sides down by the ankles. No frills, or ruffles. They also made a top to match wich was basically a denim sleeveless tee with slight slits on the sides less than an inch; so it would lay properly as the waist flared out to the hips.
It was just lovely. I wore it with a short cardi/shrug, and a scarf so it looked right for work. But on my own time I wore sandals, long beaded necklaces.
I hope Diane does to denim skirts in both lengths..But, Diane if you or your team read this~please no bling. People can add their own bling, it’s so easy. But it’s almost impossible to take embellishments off! Please, a couple of classic denim skirts with your fit. ??
Maxi length jean skirts are in again, they were all over the fashion magazines this month.
Many years ago, Diane offered wonderful skirts. I am still a skirt person and would Diane to be bold and tempt us again.
tyhis is the second time i have asked for shirts .Though i would like a couple kind of straight design and longer than a min down past knee for summer please please NETTEA 1:02pm 3.3.2015
I woman after my own heart, thank you DoxiesMom, I’ve been asking the same thing for over a year or more. I only bought one of her last denim skirts as I wasn’t sure of the size, I loved it but couldn’t get another as they were all sold out. That should have been a ‘MAJOR’ hint to Diane to bring back more.
I was hoping the last TS would be a skirt as it would have been perfect timing for Spring, well almost if the snow ever goes away. Where I am it’s almost Spring so it’s time to break out the fake tan and get the skirts out again.
Hopefully Diane will come through for us.
