DG2 Skinny Embroidered Jeans Update
Thanks to all of you for posting. I did talk to a supervisor, and my complaint has been resolved. I’ll get store credit, but that’s better than just stewing about it. However, I’ll not be purchasing anymore DG2 since the sizing seems to be all over the place.
Gypsydog-go thru your insurance coverage-not HSN customer service.
I am so sorry to hear about your tragedy. I live 100 miles away in Port Neches but my daughter lives in Spring so I have seen the flood waters. My daughter and I were both so blessed and didn’t get water in our houses. Our neighbors weren’t so lucky. Since HSN did tell you to send the merchandise back, maybe you need to call them again and tell them what you just told us. You couldn’t send the boxes back through no fault of your own. I hope you get restitution for your losses and your insurance/Fema come through for you.
I agree re DG2 – ridiculous. It’s been an issue for over 10 years.
I won’t be back to shop at HSN. I’m a victim of Hurricane Harvey (Houston) and I had about $400 worth of Lysse and Iman clothes delivered that were 100% ruined by category 5 flood water. Even though they were still in plastic, the water was 3 feet in our home and it ruined the boxes and went into the plastic. HSN said to mail them back even though we had no postal service for 15 days! The health department said not to touch anything without gloves. It was not appropriate to suggest sending them back when both cars were destroyed and we have no transportation, no mail service, no tape, no place to lay our heads (rescued by canoe). They had a banner on their website to give to the Red Cross. The Red Cross did not help us at ALL. I’ve shopped here for over 20 years and someone should know how they treated me. 🙁
Just curious how it’s HSNs fault there was a flood in your house?
I don’t think gypsydog blames HSN for the flood. I think she’s unhappy how they handled her issues. This was a natural disaster, and she couldn’t send her items back for the reasons she listed in her post.
I am sure you tried talking to a supervisor, but if not try it or try again. The first time I talked to customer service the agent said that he would check with his supervisor. I never got a follow up call or email. Today as soon as I spoke to the agent, I asked for a supervisor and got one.
Since you probably weren’t watching TV during Harvey, HSN was collecting donations of money for the victims in Houston. Remind them of that. You are a loyal customer and could not send back the contaminated items for everyone’s safety. In addition, HSN should understand since they too were hurricane victims.
I hope that you and your family are able to collect yourself and start rebuilding your lives. I wish you the best for whatever you celebrate and the best for the new year.
