Caution warning over beautiful NeNe duster
Nene duster is truly lovely but if you are 5’7″ or under and cannot or do not wear heels, it can pose a problem. I bought three and finally got a chance to wear one. It was too long and I tripped over it and fell, fracturing a bone. At my age, over 65, that’s dangerous. I am returning all three dusters. Nene, please consider making this in a “shorter” length (not petite in size, though). Length measured longer than noted in measurement chart, which explains the problem.
I hate losing these dusters. They are perfect in every other way and the colors were stunning BUT definitely not worth a broken bone. Just be cautious!
It is a beautiful garment but the proportions were rather odd with the majority of the length in the front. Maybe “her take” on asymetric. Way too long. Maybe a belt would help? I personally want to see some dusters or longer cardigans that button up or at least have some sort of closure in the middle.
So sorry to read you were hurt..I recall someone mentioning in comments here on the forum that it looked as if it could cause someone to trip..I just looked at it again and it is certainly to long for almost anyone really..No one needs a sweater/duster all the way to their feet.A midi length is as long as they should be due to safety when walking.
Oh No! :catsurprised: So sorry and pray you heal fast.
Did you try the petite size?
Or consider having them shortened?
? Oh my gosh!!!! I hope you heal quickly and are not in much pain. They are beautiful dusters and hopefully she will make them in a shorter length. Hugs to you!
Wow Charliek, I do hope you recover quickly, and are not in too much pain. I am very short, but based on the size chart, I also thought that the petite would be short enough for me. But it measured a lot longer in the front, than it did in the back. I can only assume they measured the length based on the back of the garment, as opposed to the front of it, where it hangs longer.
I do hope HSN at least paid your shipping on your return, considering you were injured by their product not being as described.
Again, I hope you get well soon!
Oh no, I’m so sorry this happened to you. I hope you recover quickly.
