Attention: petites and in need of arm coverage
Attention: ladies in need of 28″ inseam pants and/or anybody desiring an airy topper that is not at all hot!
AMAZING new Slinky brands set: 416-153. I only wish it had more colors!!!!! I have a couple jackets in that crochet and they are very very nice, you can wear them in the hottest weather and the hottest office when any other long sleeve item would suffocate and kill you! The pants come in 28″! This is a very basic set, very work appropriate. It is very sedate, no prints at all, no loud anything.
The fabric of the pants and tank is the microfiber poly/spandex, the thin kind that hangs over any rolls and imperfections.
I wear these tanks as vests over shirts and tops that are too long by themselves for the office wear. They look great under any blazers, not just this airy one.
This is the perfect set for anybody who’s got rolls of fat anywhere odd, needs to look professional and hates being too hot.
If you are super thin and desire super body hugging items please do not buy and come back with complaints.
Interesting topic. i have three long sleeve lace things that I got on HSN a few years back from a company named Ch arms. I have one in white, beige and black and the funny thing is that the first few years that I had them on people would look at me weird because it was a style not catching on yet. Now I am sooooo glad that I have them and I saw a pair on Katy Sagal on tv recently 🙂
I have four of the slinky crochet jackets that I got two years ago in super clearance and I love them.
It was so weird with the ch arms because it is like how could women judge me and ask it is llike heh what do you think I am doing I am trying to cover my arms so good it is okay to wear shrugs, tanks and jackets layered looks again 🙂
One more thing no the arms, we are sooooo self concious about our lady arms and it is only in the last few months that I have come to realize male arms are EXACTLY THE SAME AS OURS and just as early :)! It is why they wore the 3/4 sleeves!!!!!!
The spin gym is great too 🙂
Yes I agree Massha, the pants sets are very nice and very work appropriate. I like the Slinky line for the prints and sets that are offered and I prefer a looser fit, but I am just a little too tall.. Let us know how you like them. I thought the Kiwi was an interesting color. What colors did you get?
What do you know- it is the TS! I might pick up a second color. I already have two jackets in this crochet from last year – in white and in lime – and I got the one in black. Torn between the navy and the fucsia with white pants.
I wish the designers who are making petite pants (thank you!) would remember to make petite lengths in maxi dresses. I am really needing some but can never buy them because I cannot wear high heels. Uugh. I love the Slinky maxis but they are too long.
i took my mom out today to a few stores looking for something a long this line. She needs a lightweight arm cover for her 86 year old arms. It gets close to 100 degrees here often in July, would this be way to hot for that weather? 80’s and 90’s be okay? She’s 5’3 and about a size 14.
Wow! I like it! Looks very nice AND comfortable. I just ordered the taupe and the navy. I’ll
post again when I get them and try them on. If I end of loving them I may have to come back
for the kiwi and the black! Thanks for pointing them out. I would have otherwise never seen
Hmm, I was just looking at that set and was excited to see it in petites. Thanks for the info on the material. I think I would buy it for the tank and jacket alone! I also like the fact that there are no huge prints.
