Anyone purchase Big Buddha?
I just ordered my first Big Buddha bag, the Tevin with whipstiching for $30 free shipping. I thought that was decent price for a faux leather bag. I did read some reviews that reported the straps were cracking, so I was wondering if anyone out there has purchased this brand and what your experience has been. Thanks!
I have two which I purchased earlier in the year. They were summer colors and half price. Now I’m carrying my summer bags.
Another reason I purchased them, they have divided [interior] compartments. I like bags that have additional feature of center zip compartment. I won’t buy a bag where everything drops down in the "black hole" :smileyfrustrated: .
I also like My Big Fat Wallet. Tha’ts why I need Buddha size bags :smileyvery-happy:.
I also purchased the Big Buddha Tevin bag. My purse strap begin to crack three days after normal use. The rest of the bag held up fine. This could be an issue with Big Buddha products, I purchased a Big Buddha bag from Macy’s and after a few weeks use it started shedding.
I feel blessed that I have been able to purchase a few of the late, great, Carlos Falchi designs. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. He will be sorely missed. God Bless him!
Oh my gosh…I just bought another one! Maybe I should start a 12 step program! A just got another Chi…the flap back pack in putty…It’s gorgeous, but not sure it’ll work as a backpack, but more as a crossbody. Since I just bought the Chi for $70, I just canceled the Big Buddha, Trevor Hobo bag for $30. I also have tons of shoes, but over the last couple years, I find myself always reachng for comfortable shoes, and hardly ever where my killer heels…because, yep, they kill my feet, and back. I just saw another Chi clutch, but it was sold out. Sometimes, the website keeps the sold out items up there awhile, even after I refresh the page. Good thing it was, I mean do I need 3 identical clutches in different colors? Seriously though, my love of handbags is turning into an obsession. I finally curbed my jewelry impluse somewhat. Here’s what I do, when my favorites are on, I pull out all of the jewelry that I own in their line and it helps to buy less. Weird, I know/
Thanks, Karebair for sharing that. I am on the fence right now. I don’t NEED another handbag, and I did just order the divine, Chi, off white, leather and haircalf foldover clutch…It was originally $229 and got it for $50 (last one again). I know I’ll love it as I also have the exact same clutch and matching "Raw" Chi tote in cobalt. I really need to put the brakes on my handbag buying. I feel guilty about the Big Buddha purchase, which I can still cancel, but felt overjoyed with Chi purchase yesterday. I must own close to 50 handbags…ugh, what’s wrong with me?
A few seasons ago I had a Big Buddha bag, the one with the rows of ruffles, super cute. I didn’t have any problems with it, it held up well. I don’t know why I am so hard on my handbags, but they seem to take a lot of abuse. I wound up trading it in last fall when Brighton had a promotion where customers rec’d a discount by bringing in a handbag, but the bag still looked good, with no cracks or broken zippers, etc.
