Wow… No Knowledge of Products…
I recently called and talked to 2 sales people on the phone about purchasing a Roku 2 box… Roku 2 has an old version and a 2015 model that has a faster processor and different model number… No one could tell me the model numbers of the Rokus that you were selling except for they were roku 2’s… After searching Amazon and comparing pictures of old slower models and the new faster models, I found myself that the models for sale on here are the older slower models and they are selling for more than the newer faster models… Also, laptops have a new technology with their wireless cards called 802.11 ac…. If you go to any manufacturers website, all their laptops come with this new faster technology… Not one laptop on HSN has the wireless ac in them… They are all the old 802.11 b/g/n not the 802.11 ac…. I’m a little disappointd in the product knowledge of the customer reps and the fact that HSN evidently is not up to date on their electronics…
Hi Moss73, Welcome to the forums! Great that you did your research prior to making a purchase. This saved you the time and expense of getting and returning a product that did not meet your needs.
I am sure with all of the thousands of products that HSN sells, the customer reps would have to rely on whatever is written on the site concerning the product. Perhaps, the issue is that whomever is writing the product descriptions needs to write them in more detail.
Good for you Moss73 that you took the time to do your homework before purchasing items on Hsn or for that matter any online shopping website. I congratulate you on being so astute and getting past the hype or sells pitch, finding out facts about the item. I wish more people did this so they have less returns and disappointments. I do this on a regular basis and 99 3/4% I can honestly say it taught me to shop wisely and buy an item that has quality.
Well ,then I would imagine your best bet is to buy elsewhere.
