what is your experience with hp customer service? what do you think of it? does it even exist?!?
i have an hp laptop. when i had a problem, i called hp customer service (this was a while ago) and i was told that they do not do the type of customer service that the dell brand does- ie., diagnostic testing through remote access, etc. i totally regret buying an hp because of it. thank goodness i do own a dell printer and dell cust svc has taken care of me each and every time i have called in a panic because my non-tech self messed something up. dell usually fixes things for me, makes it right and then i go about my way. truthfully, the only reason why i bought an hp laptop is because at the time hsn was not selling dell laptops. now that i see hsn bringing more dell products into inventory i am super thrilled!!! i love you dell and hsn!! now, what about hp customer service? what do you think? what has been your experience(s)? please give me an idea and post your opinion!! thanks!! xoxo.

So far I have not had a problem.
As you know yesterday I could not log on my Desktop. But I could my HP Laptop.
I have the pretty blue one. It’s not yet a year old. But I am getting used to it.:womanhappy:

HP’s customer service sucks period.When my HP computer was a year old I had some issues and was told I was out of warranty by 1 day. Nope didn’t purchase the separate one and I ended up spending over $300.00 to ourchase warranty and in my case they did diagnose my problem remotely.
I have a HP now and purchased another computer recently that didn’t work so I had to send it back. My current computer is 5 ys old long life in todays market and even though I have some issues my HP is still limping along enough so that I can do business. The new one was an ASUS and after two weeks the mouse pad wouldn’t work I wasn’t going to fool around with it so I sent it back. My major regret is that I did not purchase from HSN because of how fast the turnaround is with returns. I too loved Dells in the past but since ACER bought out Dell they don’t work so well. But if Dell works for you stick with what you know and like.

Josephinea where are you? I have an HP Printer I brought right here on HSN. It’s the
officejet 6600. So far I’ve had no problems.
I love it, had HP products since 1995 and customer services has always been great, much better than that of other company’s that family members have.
I wouldn’t buy any computer that wasn’t an HP.
josephinea, I have been an HP user for almost 20 years-from when I first was a tech director for a school district installing networks. HP are the only computers I purchase for home and recommend to friends. Of all brands I have worked with, I have had fewer problems with HP than any others–and I (and my family) are NOT easy on computers. On the occasions I we’ve had to contact HP customer service, I have been satisfied with the results.
HP diagnostics is generally performed by the tech walking you through the diagnostic procedures and any corrective measures necessary. If it can’t be fixed in that manner, then other arrangements can be made.
Hubby spent with warranty and shipping and all the goodies that went with it, over $800.00 for a Christmas present for me a few years ago, a DELL, THE BEST, LOL, INSPIRON WITH ALL THE STUFF THAT WENT WITH IT, NOTHING CAME WITH THIS. WE OPENED IT UP CHRISTMAS MORNING AND I CRIED FOR HIM, Dell and Hsn sucked him dry!!!!!! Would have just a card, then know this type of hype and fraud is out there. NEVER, EVER BUY A PUTE ONLINE!!!!!!
it’s still sitting there in box, no papers, broken screen, and all, why do people still purchase something so Expensive on line. it’s all smoke and mirrors, and I still buy here …. duh me, and I don’t even get a coupon in the mail for anything!!!!! sorry, for my ranting, no one ever bothered with mine. Dell is off the limits for me, for good. Josephinea my sweetheart, enjoy a beautiful day, Just having a day on my fainting couch. LOL, that is our exprience, oh by the way No Refund, no papers.
