There’s always the HP forums.
Had some bad luck with HSN. I should have know from the warranty from the pots and pans I got from them and when the pans started to flake I found out Art Krull selling his Ultrex flaked on his deal. I also bought the HP 15.6″ LED, Intel Quad-Core, 4GB RAM, 1TB HDD Windows 10 Laptop with Lifetime Support, for the lifetime support. now I am getting an error on the computer and I have had the run around to try to get help. No one is responsible, basically. I tired of the “oh, well, there is nothing we can do”.
I also purchased the HP Laptop ONLY because of the lifetime Tech support.
Yes, HSN should contact everyone who purchased computers because of this feature and let us know the new company name and phone number, instead of waiting till we need tech support and then have to contact HSN to find out who to call, as I had to do when the first tech support went out of business. All they would have to do is email all of us as a mass mailing with the proper information.
@ejinga822 & all those posting I agree 110% regarding this issue that is the main reason these computers were purchased is due to the warranty that was offered. I have not received a call as to date either, and you would think that they would do the proper thing by either calling or emailing those that were purchased. I am not happy at all, yes mine was a gift for my Birthday & Christmas and my friend still hasn’t received any calls either. I am the registered user so they should contact me as well..
The name of the new company is Alorica. They were supposed to be up and running two weeks ago and would have a phone number for them. I am still “on the list” for them to call me…….still no contact phone number and still have not received a call from them………
Go out to the community & you will see another post for this item. Hope that it helps out as I am in the same predicament
I would like to be contacted by someone via email or phone call about this as well, since I purchased a laptop last year, and this was sold as “tech support for life.”
I was contacted by someone from HSN about this. They said there was a new company taking over. But then again, she also told me VTECH went out of business.
