Vizio 4K TV and Poor Customer Service.
I recently purchased a VIZIO 43" M-Series 4K Ultra HD on July 20. My card was charged on the 23rd of July stating that item was shipped and would arrive on Aug 4th. THey supplied a tracking number which i looked up multiple times and came back with no information. I called customer service and stated that the tracking number was not returning any informtion. They found that interesting but told me i had to wait until the date it was supposed to arrive before anything could be done. On Aug 4th i called in the afternoon to say i had not received my item yet was told i needed to wait until 9 pm CST time before calling back to let them know the TV was not delivered. I thought that was pretty ridiculous being that that the tracking number never worked so i was sure it was not going to be delivered by UPS. I called after 9 pm and was told they were going to put a trace on the package will take about 3 days and then they would be able to send my out another TV. I called today on Aug 10th and was informed that it could take up to 21 days to get a response back from the vendor and then depending on the response they could ship out a replacement. This seems to be a recurring theme with getting these TV shipped with Vizio and HSN. Since dealing with HSN i have had about 10 different stories from CS and none have been correct other then my TV is lost somewhere. I am dissappointed in the lack of knowledge from CS they should all be able to supply the same information to customer so we dont keep calling back and getting a different story each time. So i now sit and wait for a TV for the next 21 days and then i am sure another 12 for it to be delivered to my house.
I am sorry you have had iisues with Vizio… I bought one from Wal-mart last summer… I called to have some help with installing etc…
They were wonderful… They are a family owned business and answered all questions that i needed answered… No wait time getting intouch with them…
To be honest i hesitate to order any large Electronic purchases from Tv…
Would rather go to a store and do it there…
Wow. Unacceptable! If you haven’t gotten it by now I would tell HSN you want a refund. I wouldn’t accept the package if they try and deliver it. If it’s this much of a problem now can you imagine if you don’t like it or have an issue with it? Bad customer service! No TV is worth this. So sorry for this headache.
