Bought an Alcatel Tracfone from HSN and I love it. It did die, and I tried to use my protection plan, but they said it was covered under manufacturers warranty. I bought a cheap Tracfone to see me through. The manufacturer did replace my phone, but Tracfone will not transfer my minutes or warranty so I lost a lot of money. I do love my Alcatel phone though. HSN should not state that Tracfone will forward minutes though.
dianamarie4731 READ THIS CAREFULLY!!! Email simply wireless@hsncares See in your package a sheet of paper with the activation instructions. The correct email address is there. Give them your item name and item number, from the invoice (receipt), the order number, your zip code and your phone number. Explain you have not gotten your minutes from old phone and any other concerns you have with this order/phone. HSN cares will respond by contacting Tracfone–Tracfone will forward the problem to a customer resolution team person and they will email you with some instructions/requests. When I emailed Tracfone back , I gave them my number and the best time to call me. I also included my time zone because the email came from Florida. I explained that I had a doctor’s appointment the next day and not to call but they called anyway and then sent me an email about the missed call. When you talk to the rep. give her or him your minutes that is on your old phone, + the old end date, and the 1200 minutes on your new phone from HSN + that end date. Total the minutes and end dates. Example: You have 500 minutes that should have transferred to your new phone + 1200 minutes on your new phone total 1700 mins. Your end date on your old phone was 12/31/2015 and your end date on your new phone is 10/31/2016. The end date of 12/31/2015 should be added to your new end date to 12/31/2016. Make sure you put all of this in your emails to HSN cares and Tracfone’s rep. It may take several emails between you, HSN and tracfone. I forwarded HSN all emails between me and Tracfone. It took a month to get my correct minutes, my old number and I was given 100 minutes compensation and additional end date on top of my 2 combined end dates. The Tracfone customer resolution number is 1-800-626-4883 ext. 3324. I had to call them twice because Tracfone kept removing my minutes. Each time I called I got my correct minutes and compensation, one time more text minutes and one time more talk minutes. You need to start with HSN cares first so that they know the problems we have with Tracfone. I will check back here in a few days to see if you left a post asking for clarification of my post. Be well, Luelue.
Tracfone transferred my minutes from old phone to my new phone. I had trouble getting the 1200 mins but hsn wireless took care of that for me. Always liked tracfone.
