TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH ZTE TRACPHONE
I do not have any experience with Tracphones…. Received it last week…
Called company to ask a few questions regarding my issue… All i got was automated speaking…. Did try to get a live person…. No one came to my assistence.. Left my phone # as directed…
No one called back… Called them several times and impossible to get any assistence..
Needless to say am very unhappy and frustrated…..
Just got off the phone with Hsn CS…. She said there was no label to retrun…
Just to mention i also took the 2yr service plan…. Never received it and no tracking…. Was told that comes through USPS 21 days after receiving phone…. I asked why?? Was told comes from another company…
Needless to say i am furious now.
Any one else have this issue as well with a return of Trac-phone?
Maybe it’s because this i your first tracfone. I’ve been a tracfone customer for over 20 years and would not have any other, many bought from HSN because QVC doesn’t offer triple minutes anymore. I use wifi primarily so that is something to consider when going the tracfone route. I was hoping to get some information about the ZTE phone since I have only had Samsung and LG. I am considering ZTE because of it’s larger GB. I also have had pretty good luck contacting tracfone using Facebook. You can message them there or post on the website. They respond pretty quickly, definitely quicker than calling by phone.
I would call HSN customer service back and ask for a supervisor and want a return postpaid label and the extended warranty charge removed from your account.
1) you are having problems with the phone itself
2) you never received the extended warranty – dispute the charge on your credit card.
If you decide to keep the phone, I have found googling “Get Human” helps bypass the auto attendant nightmare and you get to speak to a live person.
I am a long time Tracfone user and I dread talking to them because they are based out of Mexico and I have a hearing impairment which makes it difficult to converse with some of their reps because my hearing limitations.
I have never bought the extended warranty because Tracfone is always having a newer improved phone every 6 months it seems.
Now it seems the majority of the Tracfones run on CDMA – Verizon which doesn’t work as well as GSM – AT & T does.
I still have my Tracfone but am trying out FreedomPop where you need to have your own unlocked cell phone. I bought a MotoG off Amzn when they had their Christmas in July sale. FreedomPop has monthly plans and free plan of 200 minutes talk, 200 texts and 500 mb of data. I am a light cell phone user. Right now they have given me a trial period of unlimited talk, text and 2 gb of data for under $25 on AT and T network lines GSM. I will be downgrading to their free plan of the 200 minutes and texts. I will have this as a backup. If I need more talk and text they have a under $20 a month plan you can downgrade/upgrade anytime, no contracts. They have 2 sim cards one for CDMA and one GSM. Just make sure you downgrade well before your trial period ends. So far so good.
Good luck to you DISGO 🙂
Tracfone sells data only cards on their website. It’s $10 for 1 GB of data. It doesn’t add airtime, just data. I found it very useful since I’m a light user. Suggestion. Turn off mobile data when you’ have a wifi connection.
I got two trackphones through HSN. Got suckered with never have another cell phone bill again! That is garbage. If you run out of minutes, you can lose your phone number. I use too much data, so I had to buy more data which was pricey. You cannot just buy data by itself.😡😡😡 You have to buy minutes, text, and data. 😕😐😕
I had to make several calls before I connected with trackphone representatives. None of these representatives speak clear English! I could not understand two- thirds of what was said.
I gave up my 400 dollar mistake. I recycled the phones. Yes, I felt totally mislead by the HSN presentation!
If it is too good to be true, it is because it is a lie. 😭😭
