T-MOBILE INFO MISSING FROM EVIANT 10.1 inch tablet – Can anyone help????
I was so excited to receive my Eviant 10.1 inch Connected Tablet. I took it out of the box and plugged it in to charge it! Beautiful screen, so excited to set it up!! Imagine my disappointment when there was NO T-MOBILE information for me to access the 200 mg of data that comes with no additional charge for the life of this tablet. Customer Service has been contacted and they say I must wait 2 to 3 weeks to receive it in THE MAIL!!! I asked why they cannot email it to me and they say they just cannot. I am so disappointed and angry that I have to wait this long to set this tablet up. And the tablet is sold out so I cannot return it and reorder another one. If ANYONE would like to share their T-MOBILE information that they received with this tablet I would be SO GRATEFUL!!!
I bought 2 of these tablets recently and can’t believe the hassle to get 1 of the tablets activated.
Here is the information needed to contact T-Mobile. Call 1-800-937-8997 which is customer service. Tell them you need transferred to activation dept because they will not be able to help you,
Once the activation dept answers tell them the name of the tablet and you bought from HSN. Tell them the tablet has free date for life and that you get 200MB EVERY month FREE from T-Mobile.
They will need the sim card number from the tablet. Its on the side push in on the sim card and it will release. The number they need is 19 digits, The sim card shows 2 lines of numbers, both numbers total 19 digits. MAKE SURE THE TABLET IS OFF BEFORE REMOVING SIM CARD !!
I talked with 4 individuals before they got it right. They will ask for a credit card !! Tell the NO !! Tell them again that this is a tablet with FREE data for life and 200 MB EVERY month from T-mobile.
They will ask for your birthdate, tell them NO again. They will say ok on both questions regarding credit card and birthdate.
They will give you a phone number, yes for a tablet. Don’t worry about that let them give you a phone number.
Have you set up the tablet for wifi yet ? If not, go ahead and set it up with wifi. Within 30 minutes you should get something from T-Mobile regarding 200 MB free each month.
I don’t know yet if I will keep both tablets. I haven’t even opened the other box containing the tablet.
A person shouldn’t have to spend 95 minutes trying to get something done correctly from T-mobile.
I purchased from HSN. I used my wifi with this tablet and it kept on going off if wifi and using the data without my knowledge and before I knew it I get an email from T-Mobile that I used 97% of my 200mb and if wanted to purchase more data. That’s why I bought this for the free data. The sound on this tablet is awful. I was transferred 4 times with T-Mobile before I hung up.
I too bought one of these in January. Thought it would be great, especially the mobile addition because sometimes you just aren’t near a hotspot. What a disappointment this tablet is to me. And it has gone past the month return policy. I’ve still three more payments to go and I can’t use it. As usual, the charger broke, which I wish they would send something that would last more than a couple of charges, the silver end that goes into the tablet always snaps, no matter how delicately I treat it. Secondly, it is slow as molasses. I’m so disappointed, it is sitting in the box, wiped clean of everything I tried to use on it. And on top of it I took out the extra insurance in case something went wrong. So that’s another bunch of money down the drain. I won’t buy another tablet from HSN that’s for sure.
hsn needs to quit lying in their presentations..they also need to stop buying and selling eviant products they are the worst company in the world for customer service
we are sending ours back it came without a sim card ordered over christmas according to reviews they lied about not having to be near a wi connection this is the only reason we ordered it is so we could use the 200minuted without having to be near wifi as we have a another home with no internest access we live in during the summer
I purchased a 10.1 Linsay tablet with the keyboard for my daughter for Xmas. She loves it and has had no problems to date. If you’re waiting three weeks for the paper work don’t lose site of the return period from HSN if you decide to return it…….Ronnie
I had order another tablet from another shopping channel. It is only a slip of paper….no booklet.
