This company has very poor customer service. They were not helpful with setting up my account. I decided to return it. Since it was just a piece of plastic, I decided to send it to the address on the easy return label and just put it in an envelope. Never in my entire life has the mailman lost a letter, but somehow, HSN said I needed proof that I returned it. The account has never been used. HSN cannot be trusted.
@rm79605, I took a look at the item and since we don’t see that the Easy Return label that came with the item was used, as a courtesy, I have issued a refund of $39.95 into Spendable Ka$h, which is in store credit. You’re more than welcome to use it on a future purchase before it expires on 10/16/2018.
When did spendable kash expiration dates on returned items get extended to a year????? It’s always been 60 days on returns. The only SK that doesn’t expire for a year are gift guards won on contests or drawings here. Was there a recent policy change?
It’s always been that way, @velveteenrabbit7. There are two types of Spendable Ka$h. Liability and Non-Liability. Liability KA$H is the result of the customer electing to receive a refund to KA$H for a return, reimbursement for return postage or as the result of an over payment. This type of KA$H represents the customer’s own money, therefore, it is not awarded as a prize, for an inconvenience, or as a negotiated compensation amount. Liability Ka$h expires 365 days from the date of issue.
Non-liability KA$H is not directly linked to money paid. It is commonly issued as a result of an inconvenience to the customer, marketing promotions, price reductions, or as compensation to keep an item “as is.” Non-Liability Ka$h expires 60 days from the date of issue.
