Walk, go to the gym (elyptical and weight machines), juice, and eat lots of veggies, less meat, no sodas, and have cut out almost all sugar and processed foods. My daily treat is iced coffee with International Delight creamers.
If you have not seen it, the movie "Fat, Sick, & Nearly Dead" is a very interesting documentary. It is the reason I started juicing. I have always loved vegetables so juicing is easy for me. I have not done a juice fast, just added fresh juice to my diet. I also have not added salt (only exception is baked goods) for many, many years to the food I prepare.
I am a long-time TracFone user like you. Instead of buying minutes and service on a card, I always buy a new phone because it’s cheaper!
Anyway, I upgraded from a regular, basic LG phone like the LG306G to a Samsung android (not sure which model, but I got it on HSN. I’ll look it up if you are interested) and the android is driving me nuts. There are many "upgrades" that make using the phone cumbersome.
Also, like you, I only use my phone to call, text, and take an occasional picture. I have a Kindle Fire that I use to browse the web, so I never use features like maps or e-mail. So really the more basic the phone the better for me. I think when my service runs out (only 11 months left) I will go back to a basic LG model.
I think it really depends on the user, but this user is not crazy about Android. Just one opinion. Good luck with your phone search.
I love LG . I Love Android and I like tracfone. The Tracfone model LG Android phone are the lower models and in My opinion, Not very good. The clock fluctuates and the batteries are not very good. But, if you do a lot of texting, it (Android – Optimus) is what you need.
The Lg306G gives you 1500 minutes upfront. You decide if you use them for talk, text or data. When you buy minutes for this phone, you get one set of minutes. You decide if you use them for talk, text or data.
With Lg Android .. You initially get 1200 talk minutes, 1200 text and 1200 data minutes. Later when you buy minutes for this phone, you get equal amout in all 3 categories. If you but 200 minutes of text .. you also get 200 for talk and 200 for data..
I have used lg trac phones for many years as I rarely use my cell phone, just to text my kid to call me she is 21 the generation that do not talk on phones-you have to text them to talk with them or tell them to pick up. But I love my android works for me.:smileyvery-happy:
