HSN Protection Plus Plan
I purchased the two pack Acer Iconia One 7″ tablets Nov/2014. I got the two year protection plan. One of the tablets died. When I made a claim today through Asurion I was told that I would get my money back, only 1/2 since I got two tablets. I was expecting that I would get a replacement or a new one like I was told by the rep when I made the original purchase. Now I am left without a tablet and I have to shop around for another tablet all over again. Disappointed.

I am sorry to hear of the trouble you have experienced. I am assuming the refund flex’s the purchase of the malfunctioned one only. I am sure you spoke with a C/S rep. to confirm and resolve all issues? HSN wants to keep their customer happy.
Oh my they should honor these Protection Plan you pay extra for the protection:)

Be happy you are getting a partial refund.
With the exception of high-end tablets, most are not worth repairing as te cost to repair them can be more han the cost of the tablet.
Hello ? and welcome to the Community. I hope you’ll visit the discussions here often. I’m sorry that one of your 2 pack Acer Intel Tablets has failed. The coverage of the (HPP) HSN Protection Plus for electronics, purchased 11/2014, is a comprehensive protection plan providing for the costs of parts and labor needed for covered repairs. If it can’t be repaired, it’s replaced with a product of like kind and quality or a refund by check. Since this is a 2 pack bundle, by keeping one of the 2 tablets, your refund is half of the full amount and coverage continues on the remaining tablet. I hope this is helpful information.
