HP Laptop TS 1, 2 and 3 year promo services

Has anyone had trouble activating the HP Accidental Damage Protection, HP SmartFriend Complete, and Find my HP promo services? I bought this laptop under the assumption that we would get these services for free for 1, 2 and 3 years respectively. I’ve tried multiple times to no avail. The pages that the website leads you to are paid services. I even called HP customer service only to be told that I would have to open a “case”, take a photo of my invoice and the orange activation instructions card. This is ridiculous. How can HSN advertise all this free stuff and then we can’t get any of it? When they show these products, there needs to be more description. I’m keeping the laptop because my old desktop is now obsolete, but I’m not a happy camper.

I am so sorry you were having difficulties activating your HP 1-2-3 Coverage. Please visit the following link. You will be required to either create an HP account or sign in, then enter your product’s serial number.

This link allows you to check on your Warranty Status – Look up the warranty status for any HP Product. Including the HP 1-2-3 Coverage offered on your products.
