HP Laptop Lifetime Tech Support
My husband purchased the HP Laptop with lifetime tech support and guess what. No lifetime tech support. Apparently v-tech no longer wanted to do the tech support, but HSN hasn’t found anyone to replace them either. So here I sit with 2 choices. Either pay $100.00 to get my laptop fixed or use the laptop as a paperweight. I wonder which way I’ll go…..
There IS NO HP Lifetime Tech Support now! Who a I supposed to reply to?
I was checking to see if hsn have hired a lifetime support that they sold with their computers in 2016 24hour support with remote access that was a 199.99 value ect. after v tect support went out of business /hsn hired a tect support only available certain hours and did not work on your computer remotely . and had the business balls to tell me that it was equal to what they advertised and promoted. 100% false ,I have the show taped that states different as does the card that came with my hp laptop ……. wishfull thinking I had hope to see that hsn with years to replace the support with what they sold ,had been done …..so I assume they are ok with ripping customers off and find another one to replace untill the cycle runs full circle again let me rip them off and see if they do nothing . I will never get over what has been done and it has nothing to do with the money I was out of it was the service I expected to have for a lifetime that I was out of …… hsn I will forward all my tect service charges to you to cover for a lifetime thank you
I have found that the customer service contracts are of no use even when you purchase a computer elsewhere. This is why I now belong to the Geeks. It doesn’t matter what type of computer you are using or where it was purchased, they can work on it in the store or remotely. I have had no qualms with them and since my husband and I have three desktops and one laptop, it comes in handy.
I have discovered that anything that HSN sells that states LIFETIME is not lifetime. I purchased several computer items that are suppose to be lifetime such as the Neat support, There was another computer on support that went online with your computer to clean it up about 8 yrs ago that no longer are around. These were suppose to be a lifetime and no longer are around. When I called HSN, it was like they knew nothing about it. When I showed them the HSN receipt that stated a LIFETIME, they would not know who to send me to, I would just get lost in the phone transfer.
keep getting stopecode; critical procss died on my hP 15 lap top purchased here 4.5 year ago with LIFETIME tech warranty. Called hsn, got another number, called that number and was told to call hsn back. Not computer savvy and spent 8 hours via google to try to fix. Btw the hard drive went within the first 2 months-at least I was able to get that fixed on my 3 year warranty. I was told to call hp and they wanted to sell me another warranty-guess lifetime does not mean lifetime…… What a disgrace!
