Is the ram upgradeable, add more ram?
br5490, I’m very sorry but I don’t have this info. I’ve reached out to our buyers and will share any information here.
I have these towels for months now and when its hot here in Southern California, they are one handy towel to have. I wondered about the cap though and wanted to wait for the reviews on it before ordering.
I admit , I was a skeptic about the Mission EnduraCool products , but after seeing the demos on HSN I knew I had to try them . I live in Alabama & cannot tolerate the heat after surgery for a scalp lipoma & scalp cancer . I cannot sweat to cool off so heat exhaustion happens after 5 minutes. I sent my husband to a local store to buy because I had a scare last week & was close to a heat stroke . I am planning to buy another one from HSN in pink or turquoise . I bought the mission-enduracool-multi-cool, which is made like a tube , so I put it on my head , twist it & double it back on itself to wear like a skull cap . My scalp has not been cool in years & I am thrilled with this product . So many mixed reviews on many sites , but this works & medically has been my saving grace! nothing but nothing has ever worked to cool my head & body temperature until now ! You should have seen me last year trying to help my daughter move while wearing quick chill paks & a towel under a hat . Mission cooling towels are the best !
I previously purchased the headbands/towels and both work great for my husband and I. Snapping them when they are still moist is the key for us. But not a problem re-wetting them. My husband sweats so much when he is out in the yard so using the towel around his neck really helps absorb the sweat and I know it sounds gross but he snaps the towel (sweat and all) and it gets cool again for him. When I have those nasty hot flashes I wet, ring, snap and put my towel/headband in the frig then when needed i take from frig, re-wet and snap and I get relief right away. By the way…I live in Southern Calif. so what is HOT to me may not be to others. =)
I got my hat delivered yesterday…got the white one. So speaking of, no, I don’t know how it will work out in hot weather. I’ll be wearing mine in Southern California for twice daily dog walks. I really like the light weight fabric and the bright white…I’ve two Team USA hats in similar fabric and love them. The adjustment band is Velcro BTW (I couldn’t tell on the web page) and the under brim is navy. The tag instructions say to hand wash before use…gave it a quick sink wash, let it drip for a while, patted it off and it was dry in the morning. Time will tell if it does anything…I’ve got LOTS of caps so it gets added to my collection. Now my less positive comment (and I’ve some other hats similar)…it’s not a big cap, in that I’ve other hats where the rim comes down further on the side of my head…this sits a bit high because the crown portion is not generously large. It’s still ok…I’m a guy, have an average head size and have buzzed (1/8th inch) hair. Your comfort may vary.
